I always enjoy Rachel’s books. The characters have depth, and I want to get to the end of the story to find out what happens to them. “All’s Fair” is no exception. It was great to catch up with the Libby’s and the rest of the characters from the island. I found myself trying to imagine life on an island where the weather is unkind for much of the year. Trying to earn a living in a place which is reliant on tourists that can’t always get there! It sounds tough, and Rachel writes about it with real knowledge of what that lifestyle means for the locals. I think it’s this that makes me want to read all her books. I get involved with the characters, even the irritating ones!
So of course now I’m desperate for the next episode. Why was Posey acting strangely...an unanswered mystery. I guess that might come out next time. I’ll just have to be patient.....
So, to sum up, I would definitely recommend this book, but buyer beware! You’ll want to read all the others, and there are quite a lot of them now! Happy reading!
