When I picked up this book, to be completely honest, I wasn't expecting anything great. Well, lets's just say I ate my own words! This little book is jam packed with Spanish history ranging from the beauty of the north to the colors of the south. Having lived in Spain previously, I was very impressed that this book included so many facts and places that I had not yet seen in other children's books, and for that matter even in some travel books. The photos are a little dated (as you can tell from the very dated dress)but it's incredible to see how they were able to capture Spain how it really is. Fun read for those wanted to learn more of Spain's rich culture.
