These are really quite different mysteries. Lennox Kemp is not your standard detective. A lawyer by trade, once forced to work as a investigator for a detective agency until he could “rehabilitate” himself and get his law license back, he has developed an incurable curiosity and when presented with a mystery that is difficult to unravel he must keep looking into things until he knows what happened and who may be culpable.
So, these are offbeat, unconventional mysteries and while this is a series, it doesn’t seem that way…nonetheless, a very satisfying group of stories. Volumes 1 & 2 and the last couple/few of the books are impossible or difficult to find, but the main body is readily available to the searcher, and if you enjoy that sort of hunt, this is meat and potatoes for you!
