This book really has it all -- laughs, love, friends, memorable characters, fashion, a taste of the high life, deception and, of course, a moral dilemma. And it all takes place in London with scenes at the Royal Ascot Ladies Day, high end restaurants and spas, and even a glimpse of London's finance scene.
The book follows the story of one young Rebecca and through her you meet her cheating ex-boyfriend, best (but sometimes nutty) friends, their various love/hate interests, wealthy (from various and questionable means) impeccably dressed co-workers, and then the basis of her all her troubles, the very wealthy and powerful Coombs. You'll also see just about every different type of relationship played out - old married couple, on-and-off couple, serial dater, over confident dude that can't take no for an answer, flirt, tease, cheater, liar - you name it! And that's what is so fun about this book. Whenever you think you've figured everyone out and know what's going to happen next, there is a twist and you are left wondering what they are all going to do. Then as soon as that issue is over, a new one pops up.
A fun read with lots of funny moments, A Moral Dilemma is a chick lit book that is never boring!
