5 Words: Betrayal, beauty, revenge, girl power.
This book was all about girl power to me. It was about catching that lying, cheating toe-rag, hitting rock bottom, and then finding that the only way is up.
I really enjoyed reading Rebecca. She was very formal, quite old fashioned really, but it worked. She was meant to be like that, slightly stuffy, dated and very traditional in her mannerisms and attitude. I loved her clean approach to life and life-style. I loved how she interacted with her friends too. This was one trio of girls who you just knew would end up as best friends forever, no matter what happened and what differences they had.
I loved how funny this book was. It was the kind of book that you can't read on the bus because you'll laugh out loud or snort and get funny looks from everyone. Or maybe you should, you'd get two whole seats to yourself...
This had a very summery feel to it, and is a perfect beach read. It's light but not too light, and it makes you think more than you'd expect it to. I read it during a few warm spring days and very much enjoyed it.

I absolutely LOVED A Moral Dilemma! It had it all--drama, humor, a bit of romance, and a hint of mystery. I couldn't wait to finish but almost hated when it came to an end because I enjoyed it so much. I found the characters engaging and very believable, so much so that I pulled up a mental picture of someone I knew personally for each one of them! What I loved most about A Moral Dilemma was the way Rebecca was depicted. I cared for her and I cared what happened to her. And I found myself rooting for her when I probably shouldn't have been. I love when an author can pull me out of my black-or-white way of thinking and push me into the gray area.
The funny thing is that in real life I'm not very fond of insensitive people with no filter but for some reason I seem to love them in books! Abby was hilarious and I couldn't wait for what she'd do or say next. JuJu, however, got on my nerves. Her naïve, self-righteous ways drove me nuts but because I know (and have been) people like that, I totally bought her depiction.
I think A Moral Dilemma is an excellent, very engaging debut novel and I look forward to reading more from Zara Kingsley. This is my first five-star rating in almost two years and I'm beyond excited to have had the opportunity to experience that--stay up all night because I HAVE to know what happens next--feeling that I'd been missing. What a fun read this was! Zara Kingsley did well with her pen here.
I laughed and cried and felt intrigue. The characters that Zara developed were people that most of us have in our lives one way or another. Building a bond between book & reader. Of course I loved the Uk slang that always makes for fun.
There are so many elements going on in this read that just keep you on your toes. Of course the big question is the Moral Question...could you? would you? And of course where your own compass is. All in all I loved this book, and all the possibilities yet to come. Kudo's Zara!!! Keep me posted to your future works!!

Meet Rebecca, who's only making a discovery that her boyfriend is cheating on her. She can see it with her very own eyes and a waiter in the pub where they all are is recording it on her cam - coder. Becky is devastated but not long - she calls her best friends, packs Jeremy's things and puts them outside in garbage bags.
Becky loves her flat but without Jeremy and with the difficult situation at work she's not sure if she'll be able to stay there and pay all the bills by herself. She works at Pamper Moi, a beauty salon, and although she's a very good beautician and has her regulars, she's in her boss's bad books. Just because. But, as she really wants to live on the same comfort level, she must work and fulfil every need or expectation of her boss, so when an unexpected offer from a very rich client Isabella Coombs comes, she can't refuse. The very innocent task of being her personal shopper (although Becky has no idea about fashion!) quickly changes into something different. Something strange, something that disagrees with Becky's conscience. It is actually her moral dilemma: she, who so strongly believes in faithfulness and despises women who are having affairs with married men, must now start flirting with a married man and become herself one of those women. What is going to win: clear conscience or her comfortable life?
Let's forget about this whole moral dilemma for now and do not judge the characters or their choices. Becky is not a person that is to be disliked. She's funny, she's crazy, she needs to earn money to pay the bills so she must be down to earth, but she has also her fun. So, a perfect mix actually. She is a complex character, what with the decisions that she was forced to make, so I guess we can't say that she is either white or black, and this is what I really enjoyed! What I also like about Rebecca is the way she has behaved after breaking up with her boyfriend. No sentiments, no crying, no hoping and giving twenty seven second - chances, even when he begged for forgiveness and promised that he is a new man. No. She was hard as a cookie because she knew that usually when a boyfriend cheats once, then he'll cheat again.
I had some issues with Becky's friends, Abigail and Julia, and I personally would not have as much patience for their behaviour as Becky had. Speaking about immoral, I think they were both much better examples than our Rebecca herself. Yes, there were some funny scenes at the gym with the three girls, but altogether, I think that the two friends were the weakest point of this book. While I could stand Abigail and her sexy ways, Julia was the one who really played on my nerves with the ways she couldn't decide what she wants or what she doesn't want. I have a feeling that the author tried really too much to be funny when it comes to those two girls, and has just exaggerated, because I was more than often rolling my eyes than laughing at Abigail and Julia.
I loved the way Charles was introduced to us. We got some glimpses of him and his likes and dislikes in women as Becky was trying to flirt with him, but it was nothing major, then we had two mentions of him, already being more friendly with our Becky, and then here he is, totally different man than we thought he's going to be, especially as he was so bad - mouthed by his wife. It totally worked out for me, the way he entered the scene as a hero in the book. He was a man with principles and I really enjoyed the way he was written and how he was.
The great cast of supporting characters was also very engaging. I don't know if it was my gut feeling, but I have liked Portia from the very beginning, I had a feeling that there is something very positive about this girl. Isabella was a big question mark, she was so surprising, I think she would by a very good life - coach or something, with the ways she has played with people and the ways people let her play with them. Shortly, very manipulative woman.
There are many other characters in this book, the author mentions Jeremy, Becky's ex - boyfriend, very often but it couldn't be different because he was also a friend of her friends. Some people at the gym, Seb, they all play a role in the plot, smaller or bigger one, and they are all written in a funny, vivid way.
To be totally honest, the book has a very slow beginning. I have read, and read, and read and actually started to panic because there was nothing that would close to the blurb. I've been waiting for something to happen and what I got were only really annoying and exhausting friends. But finally there came some juice and pepper and the story took off. There are some twists and turns that I honestly haven't expected and they've taken me by a big surprise, which is always a big brownie point for the book. For sure Isabella and Charles were my absolute surprise, I haven't seen it coming, not in a million years. I also think that the author did a brilliant job with solving the moral dilemma for Becky, I was actually very curious how she's going to end this book that it's not going to be in a too obvious way.
Altogether, it was not a black and white kind of book where we can judge a character easily. Zara Kingsley didn't choose the easy way to write her plot and asked some questions that actually you can't answer in the right way. There is everything that you can look for in a book: cheating, love, romance, fun, and the big questions: would you do this? Could you do this? It was a nice, optimistic read but not one that will stay with you for long, even with the moral dilemma in the title and in the plot. Great to keep you entertained.

After reading the blurb for A Moral Dilemma I was really looking forward to getting stuck in. It sounded like it was going to be full of drama and it certainly delivered.
Becky is a girl who sees herself as being an old fashioned girl at heart, with very high morals. She clearly portrays her disgust at modern relationships; at the men who lie and cheat their way around, and the women who have no regard for the women in committed relationships.
I loved the opening to the story with Becky going undercover to catch her cheating boyfriend and especially loved how responsive her friends were when she needed them by her side. Becky and her friends are all really relatable characters, and you really feel like they could be your owns friends. I love the different dynamics both Julia and Abby bring to the story as they each offer a different approach to Becky's problems and it is fun seeing them bicker between each other about how they should be helping Becky.
I think Kingsley's novel explores a really unique approach to morals - we are all quick to criticise those who lie and cheat in their relationships, but when you fall for someone you can't always count on yourself to behave how you'd expect yourself, or others, to. Kingsley also took a new approach as it's not often you find the wife of a man offering you large sums of money to try and get her husband to cheat on her! This was a very intriguing plot line, and suggested the theory that even when you're not out to have your judgement questioned, it can often creep up on you when you least expect it.
It definitely makes you self-reflect as you become curious what you would do in Becky's situation - it makes the reader become very self-aware as you start to question, not only what Becky is doing, but what you would do.
I really enjoyed A Moral Dilemma... it is fun, flirty and scandalous, and come on... who doesn't enjoy a dirty scandal every now and then! ;)

Very Chic. Much fashion, and a whole-bunch-of-things-gossip-worthy happening it'll make your head spin!.
This was a nice, fun, and crazy read as these characters go from being cheated, becoming the cheater, scheming, falling in love, and eloping all in this one story. Not to mention the very often fuck off's haha
There was never a dull moment. These characters always had a trick up there sleeve; moral, or immoral... *chuckles* Yupp, you read right folks!. Makes you all the more want to check and see for yourselves.
In the very beginning, I was extremely anxious for something to happen. So much that I felt that the story dragged kinda bit. Especially when the time comes when the friends become just really annoying. The more I read, a chuckle or two later was when the juicy stuff started leaking, and was completely thrown a curve ball!.
Although, the basic theme in the story was very familiar, ( I saw this movie called Chloe and it was basically the same. However, the intentions differed.) it was rather very intresting and grasped a better understanding of the situation and the emotions of the characters undergoing it.
I didn't even snap or recognize any foreshadow for what was to come (except the obvious part of the being cheated/ being the cheater complex ) until it was spelled out for me to read and figure out along with the main character.
Overall, this book was a great read and completely enjoyed it to the end. Hope the author keeps up the good work!.

This book really has it all -- laughs, love, friends, memorable characters, fashion, a taste of the high life, deception and, of course, a moral dilemma. And it all takes place in London with scenes at the Royal Ascot Ladies Day, high end restaurants and spas, and even a glimpse of London's finance scene.
The book follows the story of one young Rebecca and through her you meet her cheating ex-boyfriend, best (but sometimes nutty) friends, their various love/hate interests, wealthy (from various and questionable means) impeccably dressed co-workers, and then the basis of her all her troubles, the very wealthy and powerful Coombs. I absolutely loved this book. This is a well crafted story with plenty of humor incorporated into it and I absolutely enjoyed reading it from start to finish. It's an absorbing and attention-grabbing work that had me engaged from the beginning. The story flows from scene to scene effortlessly, and the author shows exceptional ability when it comes to storytelling.
The story had every element a good story should have. An exciting plot, attention to detail, but best of all fleshed out, well-written and well-rounded characters. This interesting and compelling work, as I said, had my attention from the beginning. The novel is paced faced, with lots of twists and turns that will take the reader on an intriguing journey.
The character development, as I said is fantastic, the storyline flows effortlessly, and the writing is absolutely stellar. The descriptions are so vivid you feel like you are right there within the pages of the book. Seriously, once you start, you will not want to put this book down for any reason.
I highly recommend!

This was an easy read, funny at times, but sometimes I felt she tried to make the characters too funny, that they weren't funny at all. Especially one in particular.
This book had a little of everything, there was deceit, cheating, lying, a bit of mystery, and some funny characters.
I did like the girls friendship, they could tell each other everything and anything, and they would stick together, they had each others backs no matter what.
So if you like a bit of comedy, mystery, deceit, and some lying and cheating then this is the book for you.
I will be reading book 2 I need to know what will happen with Becky's and Charles' relationship, and the rest of the gang.

I liked the story very much
it was witty and really funny.. the plot escalated quite dramatically in the last 25% of the novel but ended rather suddenly and not very convincing, and for me that was the only short comming of the book.
I also loved the secondry characters especially Sep, Portia and Abby
I would love to read the next book in the series and will look forward to its release.

The Book was really fun to read, couldn't stop read in one sitting. I love Becky and Abby characters, hope Abby get her book...definitely a good recommendation especially for that price can't beat that.

Oh dear GOD. I have tutored ESL middle-schoolers with a better grasp of grammar, syntax, and basic sentence structure that this woman has. There were errors on EVERY page. Often there were multiple errors. I am not being hyperbolic for dramatic intent--I could not find a single page in which the writing was correct.
For example, on one page, she refers to an eatery as a "brassiere". Twice. Really? Your characters will be dining in lingerie? It's called a "brasserie", you uneducated dimwit. On that same page, she describes the male character as "taking the reigns". Also twice. Erm, so I guess he is taking over the throne of England? Better inform the Queen.
She also misuses vocabulary, often laughably. Early in the book--page 17--she tells us that the male character is "reticent" about buying an expensive flat. She later describes how he absolutely does not want to spend the money. He sure as hell isn't reticent, then. Seems fairly communicative to me. Buy a dictionary, Ms. Kingsley.
This should have been a clue; but because I refuse to let my Goodreads friends subject themselves to this horror, I persevered. Oh, and later in the book, she forgets a character's name TWO LINES later. Criminy. That is the fastest name change in the history of time.
I hope by all of the gods of literature that this abysmal mess was self-published. If not, the editors need to look elsewhere for employment because they are horrific at this position. Other folks described the book as funny--honestly, the only humor I could discern was how laughably bad it was.

Rebecca’s life is full of adventures. There is her job at Pamper Moi with her special colleagues and her boss, and then there are her friends Abi and Julia plus the boys, including Jeremy. She soon discovers that he is cheating on her and breaks up with him.
I loved that this novel was set in London, I adore this city and it was great to read about places I know.
Becky finds herself working closely for Isabella Coombs, who seems to be a nice and lovely woman. Then Isabella wants to test her husband’s faithfulness and sends Becky to flirt with him. She is his type apparently. At first he doesn’t seem to be interested at all, but then after a few dates they’re getting closer and soon Rebecca seems to be falling for him, without even realising it. Her friends and colleagues see it first.
But dating a married man? A real moral dilemma for Becky. The perfect title for this book.
Julia is engaged to Seb, the wedding was off already twice and it was hard to tell, whether what they had was real love. And then Abi, I didn’t quite get her character and sometimes it was too much for me with all of Rebecca’s friends included and also Jeremy wanting her back.
I was so focused on Rebecca’s story that I liked hearing about her friends, but not as a whole parallel plot though, that’s a bit of a pity for me here.
Zara’s style of writing is great though. It’s vivid and bubbly, full of energy and great scenes.
Isabella Coombs turns out to be a real bitch and everything gets into a real drama here, with a lot of misunderstandings and twists and turns. I just wanted Rebecca to finally be with her man!!!
Charles is a great character, I didn’t get him at first, but he’s so charismatic in the way he treats Rebecca and when he talks about his boys. It really comes from his heart.
I liked Rebecca’s energy and drive. She could give me some of that ;)

Rebecca is a beauty therapist, she works in beauty studio Pamper Moi in London, where going rich and famous woman. She believe in natural beauty, she is ordinary and simple girl and she hates to dates with married men. Rebecca is not a favorite employee and she must tries more then Portia- a fashionista, the favorite one, but she has her regular customers.
One call and Baccy's life will be ups side down.One meeting with notorious Issabella and she is on the edge to ruin some's life.
Does she doing the right thing a moral thing or not?
When I sow this great,chick-lit cover I liked so much and I just know that this is great book. I know that I don't supposed to judge the book by the cover, but I think that the cover is very important.
The content is very well done, nothing is missing and nothing is superfluous, the action is flowing that I have feeling that I was watching movie, the plot is very intriguing and kept me curious till the end of the book. I must admit that I was suprised when I read that this is a debut novel to Zara Kingsley, cause the book is very profesional written.

I am giving this 4.5 stars, but there is no button for that. This book touches on a subject that is far too common in today society, would you ever date a married man?
Rebecca is a natural beauty technician. She pampers the wealthy people in London every day for a living. She has a great condo with an awesome boyfriend. Until he is caught cheating. Now she doesn't know how she is going to be able to afford the mortgage. That is until she gets called out to a home pampering session.
This is the first book that I have read by Zara, it will not be the last. She is from the United Kingdom and the words that she uses in the book are great! I had to look some of the meanings up, which is awesome, I love learning new words, especially from another country! I did find it hard to read the word Whilst over and over. They might use that word over in England, but I have a hard time using it. So I just shortened it to while, and made the story read a whole lot smoother.
If you love witty women that love to either give each other a hard time, or try to find some action (at least on of them), then you will love this book. If you don't like that kids of thing, then you will love this book!!

Rebecca Hardy works at an exclusive salon, Pamper Moi. She caught her longtime boyfriend cheating and kicked him out of their condo. Now, Rebecca didn’t know how she was going to afford the mortgage. So when Isabella Coombs tried to hire Becky to get her husband to cheat on her, Becky didn’t know what to do. She needed the money, she wasn’t sure about dating a married man, especially a nice, charming man like Mr. Coombs.
I have to admit that at first, it was very hard to get into the book. I didn’t really like Rebecca Hardy or her best friends – Juju and Abby. They’re a bit annoying and their conversation was a bit unnatural to me. But as I get into the book, I started to enjoy it. I started to like Becky a little bit (although I can't say the same about her best friends). There were tons of drama in Becky’s love life, work life and friendship. I'm curious to know what will happen to Rebecca and the husband. And what’s the deal with Isabella Coombs.
Overall, I kinda like the story and the plot. The characters, not so much. If you enjoy a light read with lots of drama, bits of romance and humor, A Moral Dilemma is the perfect book for you.

I'm a child of divorce and broken families so nothing angers and upsets me more than cheating. I would never cheat on my boyfriend and if I ever even suspected that he was cheating he would be out on his ear. So when Rebecca catches Jeremy cheating on her after many years of suspicion I was proud of her for dumping his sorry ass.
Abby and Juju are really good friends to Rebecca. They help her through the Jeremy situation and gave her two pretty good perceptions on Isabella's request.
It's a pretty odd request. I don't think I'd ever ask a someone to attempt to seduce my husband, so the whole time I was wondering what Isabella was up to, that she must have an ulterior motive.
There were some funny scenes especially those at the gym involving Gus.
This is a fun and entertaining read.

Enter Isabella Coombs who on the surface is frightened of her husband cheating on her, Isabella is minipulative but Rebecca doesn't see this and agrees to help her.
In a lot if ways I liked the story but I found it hard to relate to Rebecca, maybe that is my age lol. I thought Abbey her best friend was a great character and wished Rebecca had been a lot more like her.

This is a light-hearted romantic comedy ideal for reading in the garden or on the beach. I particularly enjoyed getting to know Rebecca and the dilemma she finds herself in. Some of the minor characters had me laughing out loud, namely the Gustard. I wonder if he is based on anyone that the author met on her visits to the gym? He certainly struck a chord at any rate. There are some fantastic characters too at Pamper Moi, the Knightsbidge beauty salon where Rebecca works. Her boss is quite formidable and I loved to see how the balance of power kept changing. Dealing with the Sloaney set and their Sunday pot-fuelled afternoons is a mile away from my milieu yet somehow Zara Kingsley draws the reader into their world. Now I just have to get my head around a dress worth £10,000!

I was gifted an autographed copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book. I loved the writing style that the author used to demonstrate the strains that friendship can have on romantic relationships, relationships between coworkers, and the relationship between service provider and client. I would absolutely read any other titles that she may publish.

Romantic comedies are honestly my favorite. One of my friends told me about the book A Moral Dilemma and that she had really enjoyed it. I decided to go ahead and read it for myself since she gave the book such a high recommendation. With all the great reviews, I was looking forward to enjoying this one. And I wasn’t disappointed! The plot of this book was amazing! There’s a lot of humour, drama, twists and turns, and of course a little bit of love.

Pretty standard -- knew what was going to happen straight from the start, with no real twists or turns. There wasn't a very detailed picture painted of the love interest, and so there was really no reason to root hard for the happy ending.

I enjoyed the story line. It is a little hard to follow at times and there are tons of editing issues but it was a cute book.
