The last thing Grayson thought he’d have to worry about his freshman year of college was vampires. Making friends, getting his work done on time, the freshman fifteen? Sure. Vampires? Definitely not. Not my usual genre but I enjoyed the writing and the plot was well thought out. For a young writer, I look forward to watching her become an acclaimed author for years to come.

Vampires Don't Need an Invitation is a self-aware vampire romance novel that will vindicate you for every bad thing you ever thought about the genre without vilifying you for ever liking it in the first place! Perfect for Twihards and Anti-Twihards alike, actually.

CONTENT WARNINGS: assault. sexual content. language. grooming.

“It was a relationship between a young, inexperienced girl and an older man used to getting what he wanted. He'd come to her when she was vulnerable and convinced her that he was the only one who cared about her, and she'd believed him. And he did care about her, but he cared about himself a whole lot more.” 1 likes
“When I thought about it, I realized how silly and artificial the things I knew about each of them were, but that was how it happened when nobody knew anybody and you tried listing off your interests and background in the hopes of finding people who would mesh with your interests and background.” 0 likes
