This was my first book by this author. It was outside my normal reading preference as well. That being said, I liked the story. Things in the news today, concerning the President, made it seem more real, for me. The character's political views seemed to be accurate, or rather, my imaginings of what their political views would be. Having never dealt with the FBI, it's hard for me to say.

This is a conspiracy story dealing with thorny present day issues. Yes it is fictional but it also has a quality of making your read more real by use of the present day problems of the U.S. government and its leaders. More than that I cannot tell you because to do so would give you spoilers ruining your read. The two principal characters of the book, Brock and Kim, are FBI agents involving bomb threats. This book is not only an action adventure it is a twisted mystery. Two FBI agents are sent to Montana when the President's new resort becomes a target in a list of bomb threats. The big problem is the President has done his best to discredit the agency that now has to protect him. Join the agents as they search not only for bombs, but uncover a conspiracy behind the power and pretense of the highest office in America.
