Tina Radcliffe

Wow, all I can say is, why I have I never read Tina Radcliffe before? She had my emotions all over the place. Once I started reading, it was very hard to stop! The twists and turns made it impossible to put down, as I had to know what was going to happen to AJ after she kept getting shut down for being a female assistant foreman on ranches. She's very good at her job but doesn't get the respect she deserves. What an awesome story. All of Tina's characters fee

This book just solidifies my thoughts...Tina is a new favorite author!
Her romances are swoon worthy and BOY does she know how to write a hero.

There has been a running theme in the books I've been reading lately, you can really SEE the characters changing and letting God take control of their lives. And I'm not mad about it!

I loved seeing Travis' perspective and opinion of female farmhands change. His original stance was super realistic as was his change of heart.

I had so much respect for AJ.

What can you do with a hero and heroine who are "...each riding a stubborn mule going in the wrong direction?" (p 208) Settle in for a an awesome reading adventure, that's what!

Travis is a wee bit annoying in a macho man kind of way. He doesn't mean to be, least he catches himself after he's stuck a cowboy boot in his mouth and AJ gets riled. Mind you, she's a mite sensitive so she tends to over react. Be prepared for some fireworks and angst along with plenty of laughter as these tw

With that opening line, you know you're going to see so many sparks fly it would put a firecracker to shame! These two certainly don't hit it off so well; he has old fashioned ideas on how to build a thriving self-sufficient cattle ranch while she has some rather unconventional methods and isn't afraid to suggest them. Oh I love AJ,

”’It’s not over until the fat cow sings.’” < -- Hah!! Love the ranch humor!

Just go ahead and read it, it’s worth it! I may have liked the first book, Claiming Her Cowboy, better but this one had a better ending. There were a few little things in this one that an editor should have caught, a few things that were unbelievable or out of character(view spoiler), and a certain amount of “Love Inspired” hokin

'It would be a very long time before she got over Travis Maxwell's betrayal.'

Tina Radcliffe takes us back to Big Heart Ranch for this second in the series. Big Heart is a ranch set up to help disadvantaged children and Radcliffe has made it seem so real, the reader feels part of her setting.

Travis Maxwell and his two sisters were all in foster care and have set up the ranch to make other children feel special. It is a wonderful place. However, right now they need an assistant foreman. When A.J.

Falling for the Cowgirl is a delight to read, truly. Set on the Big Heart Ranch in a small Oklahoma town, the story has a Western feel, focusing on the day-to-day ins and outs of overseeing a ranch, with some sweet interpersonal, romantic drama.

Working together proves to be no easy task for AJ Rowe and Travis Maxwell. AJ must work twice as hard and resourcefully to show her capability in a male-dominated field, while Travis often lets his pride take control in his efforts to contribute to his f

Falling for the Cowgirl is a highly entertaining, well-paced story with humor, snappy dialogue, character depth, and a great sense of place. How delightful to discover this gem in the Love Inspired line and Tina Radcliffe is a talented author to watch!

Falling for the Cowgirl was such a fun sweet story to curl up in my reading chair with. We have two characters who do not like the preconceived notions people have about them and would much rather be seen for who they are along with their skill sets and accomplishments.

AJ McAlester is trying to find ‘home’ where she can be who she is, a cowgirl who knows her stuff. Travis is not so sure that a woman can do the job he wants done, but his two sisters, who are also his business partners have great

I love Tina Radcliffe’s cowboy romance books and Falling for the Cowgirl totally hit the spot! This is book 2 in the Big Heart Ranch series but can definitely be read as a stand-alone. This book has all of Tina Radcliffe’s trademark goodness that makes her books enjoyable - easy-to-follow and fluid writing, nicely paced and interesting plot, flawed yet lovable characters, and solid thread of faith. If you enjoy contemporary western romance, you will love this book.

I fell in love with this story from page one. The author pulled me into AJ and Travis' story, and I didn't want to put the book down until I finished.

Falling for the Cowgirl is the first book that I have read by this author, but it will definitely not be the last! I enjoyed this story so much! The setting was very interesting. I really enjoyed reading about all of the preparations that AJ and Travis were having to work on in order to apply for a special grant that the ranch needed. Their day to day lives felt very real to me.

The romantic tension in this novel was so good! These characters were attracted to each other right away, yet neither o

I LOVE this book....and everything about Big Heart Ranch!

While reading Falling for the Cowgirl, I laughed, I cried, and I delighted in every page!

At Big Heart Ranch, newly hired AJ McAlester finds working for her boss, foreman Travis Maxwell, to be many ways. Watching these two strong-headed people clash provides for great entertainment as unexpected twists in their lives occur.

I like the strength AJ demonstrates as she strives to prove her abilities. I found grumpy Travis to

I fell in love with Big Heart Ranch when I read the first book, Claiming Her Cowboy, in Tina Radcliffe's "Big Heart Ranch" series. I could hardly wait for book two, Falling for the Cowgirl, and I wasn't disappointed.

Big Heart Ranch is in need of an assistant foreman to help owner/foreman, Travis Maxwell in running the ranch. Travis is a conventional rancher wanting to hire a cowboy but his two sisters, who are also owners, insist that applicant A.J. McAlester is just right for the job, so much t

Delightful Read! 5+
Tina’s writing inspires, makes you laugh, and tugs on your heart strings. I simply love her books. The interactions between Travis and AJ are adorable, I miss them already! I love how spunky AJ is 😊 You'll laugh out loud and won't want to stop reading.
This is an awesome story, which reminds me of the quote: “When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.”

Another great story by Tina Radcliffe! If you love inspirational romance on a ranch, you'll love this series.

AJ has innovative ideas to help foreman Travis Maxwell win the grant money. But her ideas put the ranch at risk. Will she have to look for another job?

Travis is against hiring her from the start, but when he realizes she can get the work done, can he convince her to stay?

I enjoyed the love story between AJ and Travis. I could see his surprise when he realized AJ was a woman. It was fun

I knew within the first few pages that I was going to enjoy this story by Tina Radcliffe. I have already purchased the first book in this series, Claiming her Cowboy, and am looking forward to Christmas with the Cowboy, which comes out in September! Even though this is the second in this series, it easily reads well as a stand-alone.

There are so many things I enjoyed about this book. I loved the setting, the secondary characters, the pops of humor throughout, the relationship between Travis and

Falling for the Cowgirl by Tina Radcliffe

If you had asked him, I don’t think Travis would have realized that he thought a woman couldn’t work as well as a man but underneath everything, he did start out believing that way. He was a fun character, being quite outspoken and having a short fuse, and yet he had quite a soft heart.

AJ was a woman in a male-dominated field. Despite the fact that Travis’ sisters were both completely for hiring her as assistant foreman, he was against that decision. I lo

AJ Rowe is the kind of employee any ranch owner would want. Experienced with horses, possessing an incredible work ethic and having a mind that allows quick thinking and wise decisions. Just the person that Travis Maxwell and his two sisters are looking for to fill their need for an assistant ranch foremen. Yes, AJ seems perfect except for the fact that the initials AJ stand for Amanda Jane and this cowboy is a cowgirl! Travis immediately rejects her application but he is overruled by his sister ...more
This was a fun story about a cowgirl looking for a place to call home and a stubborn and prideful cowboy who just might be that place. AJ was a tough, smart, determined woman and I really admired her strength and that she stood up for herself and with a little bit of sass! She really gave Travis a run for his money and there were a lot of amusing scenes and fun banter between them, and with the other ranch hands. She had some interesting ideas to make the ranch successful in winning a grant prop ...more

This is a good story about two people with separate goals who have to overcome personal prejudices in order to succeed. Travis Maxwell wants to think he’s a modern man until he’s confronted with his own opinions about women doing what he considers man’s work, only AJ McAlester has the skills he needs to run the ranch and help him move it into the sustainable category to qualify for a needed grant. AJ has lost every ranching jobs she’s had for one unreasonable anti-woman reason after another and ...more

I loved the romantic dynamics between Travis and AJ and I enjoyed the family dynamics between Travis and his sisters. This is the second book in what I hope is a long series set at the Big Heart Ranch. It can be read as a stand alone or as part of the series. Ranch foreman Travis Maxwell needs an assistant and his sisters convince him to give very qualified AJ a chance for a trial period even though he doesn't expect a woman to be to able to do the job. I loved the reality of a woman needing to prove her ability to do a traditionally "man's" job and the other characters reactions to a woman as assistant foreman ...more

Yes, I read it all in one sitting, I am sad that it's over, and I can't wait for the next book in this series. In traditional Tina Radcliffe style, the author has penned a sweet romance with enough conflict to make me want to strangle the characters at times, enough humor to make me laugh out loud and enough cowboys to be deemed swoon worthy. Travis just wanted someone to help him get the grant Big Heart Ranch needs to boost its fledgling cattle herd. A.J. just wanted a job where she could be ju ...more

Take one feisty, independent, hard-working cowgirl and one slightly chauvinistic, set-in-his-ways hunky cowboy; throw them together and watch the sparks fly—in more ways than one. With lots of witty banter, head-butting, and intrigue, Tina Radcliffe’s writing pulled me right in and kept me turning pages. Her realistic, engaging, wounded characters came to life on the page and made me feel as if I knew them. They have children there to learn how things on a ranch are done. Travis Maxwell is the foreman of the ranch. Him and his two sisters hire A.J. McAlester as assistant foreman. A.J. is now in charge of the few people working there. She is qualified as any man and she proves it. A.J. does barrel racing and is teaching two of the girls at the ranch. Travis use to ...more

I absolutely loved this story!

“Falling for the Cowgirl” is book 2 in the “Big Heart Ranch” series but I didn’t read book 1 and wasn’t confused with the characters or plot so they obviously can be read as stand alone books.

I love a good cowboy/cowgirl story and this book exceeded my expectations! AJ was a great, strong woman character who had determination and grit to make it in a “mans ranching world”. I liked her work ethic, morals, and how she interacted with others. I loved the concept of the

Tina Radcliffe has once again pulled at my heartstrings with her newest novel Falling for the Cowgirl.
This second book in the Big Heart Ranch series, which can be read as a stand-a-lone, had me hooked from the first page as I turned page after page till its end!
