What a fun book.
The author moved from the USA to central Mexico with her husband and and a child. They live in a small town with a little land so they have animals. These animals included burros, donkeys, horses, pigs, sheeps, chickens, goats. They didn´t have all these animals all at the same time, though. Livestock are bought and sold or bartered.
