Mrs Jeepers decides her third grade class will focus on reading during the month of December with a party as a reward. but Eddie refuses to read - focusing on the upcoming Christmas yard decorations contest. His refusal will make all his friends lose their party. but after he meets an unusual library volunteer and Mrs. Jeepers lends him some scary books, his interested is piqued and his love of reading begins. How can I not love that moral?? LOL

Part of me wishes I could read those books that Eddie enjoyed reading to g-pa Vamps. I thought it was pretty interesting that Eddie told Vamps about how they think Jeepers is a vampire, and about the box in her basement. It seemed like a little confession when Vamps said that maybe the box had a secret compartment in it, because it was obvious that those were his books.

I still loved it though, and the ending when Eddie was like we're not going to do anything about Vamps being a vampire because he's really cool.

That's the kind of thing I like. I loved this book so much, especially with the creepy Halloween/Christmas!

In this installment of the Bailey School kids we are getting ready for Christmas. If the class reads enough books they get a special party. The problem is Eddie hates reading. Mrs. Jeepers find him the perfect books for him and all is well by the end.
These are such great chapter books. My son enjoys these very much. Not as creepy as the Goosebumps just perfect for a seven year old boy.

Mrs. Jeepers wanted the students to read many books as they can.Everybody like to read but only one didn't.Even though the rest loved reading,he had to read a book and try to like it.Before they started to read, they have to read at least one or more books to be able to have a party.Then,Mrs. Jeepers ask him to visit her house and she had a surprise for him.he was worried but he went anyway.Mrs. Jeepers give him books for him to read that were interested to him and how he likes to read.

My kids were dying to know whether Grandpa Vamps and Mrs. Jeeper's were vampires. The weird things that happened around Mrs. Jeepers and Grandpa Vamps certainly keep you wondering.

It was ok but I did not get how Mrs. Jeepers grandfather got Eddie to read.
