Not what I thought the book was going to be, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I read it in less than a day (thanks to Covid 19 keeping us in quarantine); partly because I had the time, but also because it was a very well written, highly engaging book.

As I was reading the book; I genuinely wanted to learn more about Camille's parents. Because they were aging; it was obvious what the outcome was going to be, but it was fascinating reading about how the family planned for it, and how each coped after the fact.

The book is also funny. I especially liked the anecdote about when Camille's dad was sitting, staring in to space, and the nurse asked him if he was OK. He responded saying he was waiting for Jesus, and the nurse said; "Don't say that; that's not nice!". He then said "I'm in my 90's; in a nursing home... where do you think i'm going?".

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Highly recommended for those whose parents are aging, and who would like to help them prepare for things that are part of this process.
