I wasn't able to find one article or review or literally anything that can "confirm" the "rumors" that were brought up by a SINGLE person. (less)

Update: apparently the book is due for release in 2021 sooo this year

The first book was great and I LOVED it and its a little lengthy however I read it and finished it in a week. The second book I had DNF'd however picked it back up during the reading rush to finish it as I want to continue the series to see how things play out but I didn't enjoy nor like the second book. The issue wasn't how it was written I enjoy the writing but the issue was what was happening in the second book. Some people enjoyed the second book but I didn't personally. I really just ended up losing the connections I had with a lot of the characters and it was hard to get through. I do not know when this 3rd book is coming out but hopefully soon. I say that the second book could be a quick read depending on your reading speed but for me, the book was slow for me, personally but yea the first book is longer than the second book. (less)

Really Tomi you’re just going to break my heart like that? I mean what do I even do now?

Rachel (The Rest Is Still Unwritten)
I think this one should be called Children of Death and Desire.

Decided not to read this book after seeing first hand how Tomi treats people behind the scenes. I'm fed up. As someone who works in publishing, the Nora Roberts stuff is just the tip of the iceberg.

She's done shady crap to multiple other Black YA fantasy authors, including ghosting on events days before, screwing over small bookstores who sold tickets (just ask Mysterious Galaxy Books) and accusing lesser known authors of stealing her ideas (not just titles). It's almost as though she

I consumed book 1 & 2 in less than a week. I have fallen in love with the characters, their flaws and their strengths. I pray book 3 doesn't fall into the European slavery trope. It will not do the story of these vibrant characters justice. ...more

I've been thinking about this for awhile now. Now, I don't know if this is a spoiler for the 3rd and final book in the Legacy of Orisha Trilogy... But, knowing that the initials for the 3rd and final book is CAA, I recently came up with a title for the 3rd book. My prediction is that the title for the 3rd book MIGHT HOPEFULLY BE CALLED: CHILDREN OF ASH AND THE AIR.... To me, that title just seems SO appropriate and fitting the end of this trilogy when it comes out... I would appreciate it VERY M ...more

I think that this cover will be either yellow, green, or purple. Why? Because of this thing I call the Trilogy Trend. All (most?) trilogies have a color pattern that consists of red, blue, and one of the three other colors (and also black, in some cases). I could take literally any trilogy/quartet, and it would fit into this trend. Currently, I’m betting on purple for this book.

That ending in Book 2 just breaks my heart. I hope book 3 explains everything well, and makes this ride worth it. I really hope we don’t get to a point where it feels like a corner with no hope and no connection to everything we’ve already experienced.
