I...honestly have no words. This was exactly as I’d imagined, panels that I’d pictured in my head almost identical to the ones on the page. It was beautiful...Jane shows her strength in every single issue, not solely by her ability to throw the mangog into the sun, but the fact that she does it even though the Gods have wronged her time and time again. She is so selfless, willing to die for the very Gods who wish her dead. She truly is worthy.
Her last remaining moments — taking off her helmet,

What a beautiful, beautiful comic. It still amazes me how stupid it is for a superhero to die of cancer in the Marvel universe, since people survive any kind of much worse fates, but it actually worked on an emotional level, especially in this issue. Every panel is a true work of art, the bloody fight with the Mangog is extremely intense and the last moments of Jane Foster are poetic and moving.

Explosive fight sequences that put me at the edge of my seat. I'm impressed by the artwork and Jane Foster's self-less attitude. I've been following this story. From the previous issue, I learnt about her illness. With no alternative solution, Jane decides to sacrifice herself. Who could have thought such a day would come when a mortal would save the gods? Oh yeah, some clever team from Marvel!

While I don't like the design of the Mangog, which resembles a stupid pokémon, the story is cool... O my guuud, what's happening!!

Jason Aaron grew up in a small town in Alabama. His cousin, Gustav Hasford, who wrote the semi-autobiographical novel The Short-Timers, on which the feature film Full Metal Jacket was based, was a large influence on Aaron. Aaron decided he wanted to write comics as a child, and though his father was skeptical when Aaron informed him of this aspiration, his mother took Aaron to drug stores, where h ...more
