The questions shared in this book are conversation starters for the reader to consider when dealing with "prickly" people. Each section offers a question regarding how to deal with difficult individuals, an answer based on God's Word, a short devotion, Scripture readings, and quotes. It's a good starting point to help the reader determine where they are struggling but does not dive deep into the topic. For further exploration into each topic, the reader needs to turn to God's Word and additional resources. That being said, this book might be helpful in a group setting as a guide for conversation.
This book was just OK. It opened the door for people to pathologize and point fingers at the "difficult person" for too much without giving any real firm guidance in taking a look at self that wasn't simply "read the Bible."
