Just One Spark
Hannah Daniels reads steamy romance novels to forget her last trip on the love roller coaster shredded her heart and tossed it like confetti. Her instincts about men stink, but at work they’re on point. Only her busy schedule means she reads whenever she can make time. Like at the laundromat while sitting on top of a washing machine. Don’t judge.

This book is very representative of its kind. It has a cute hook and stayed cute until the didactic view of love was imposed on the heroine at the end. Not to mention the ending is incredibly abrupt.
Just One Spark takes the annoying position that there is only one way to fall in love and that's love at first sight. Falling in love over time is not real love according to this book. Most romances have a compressed timeline and couples are often engaged i ...more
