Francine Paula Pascal was an American author best known for her Sweet Valley series of young adult novels. Sweet Valley High, the backbone of the collection, was made into a television series, which led to several spin-offs, including The Unicorn Club and Sweet Valley University. Although most of these books were published in the 1980s and 1990s, they remained so popular that several titles were re-released decades later.
4 stars for a SVJH book. It was fun and none if the characters annoyed me. I don’t understand why Lila is so popular when she’s so awful. Even in the SVH books (maybe especially in those books?) she’s horrible. Anyway, it was nice seeing her be a bit more human, less stereotype at the end of the book. For some reason, I can’t stop SVJH books. They’re like comfort food.
