The Secret of Spring Hollow - An Avalon Romance

After a tragic accident claims the lives of Caitlin Morrisey’s parents, she must preserve the family ranch and support her brother, Jeff, and her sister, Linnie. Desperate to keep the family together, Caitlin turns an old barn into a bed and breakfast. Tony Black, a neighbor, offers to marry her, but she is determined to marry for love. Connor Devlin, another neighbor whose broken fence and wandering cattle caused the accident that killed her parents, offers to buy her out, but Caitlin furiously rejects the offer. The Spring Hollow Guest Ranch is a rousing success, in spite of the mysterious fire that threatens the converted barn. Strange lights in the far pasture and a near-miss accident with a semitruck bother Caitlin. Even her growing attraction to Connor Devlin can’t erase her anxiety. Around the campfire, Jeff recounts the legend of lost Spanish treasure to fascinated guests, and daydreams of finding it. But someone already has plans for the treasure and will stop at nothing to get it.

Good story

Nice to read a book about family taking care of one another as well as a little love story. Kinda reminded me of a Hallmark movie

I absolutely love books like this! These books should have a genre of their own. I love just books about everyday life and family working together.

Pleasant Read

This was a pleasant read on my flight home. A nice story of young folks pulling together to keep their home after a tragic accident takes their parents from them. Happy ending, of course, through just a hint of mystery and legend. Made me smile and kept me turning pages till the end.

This was a quick read, and fairly good story. The plot was pretty predictable. The book would be a good summer read/beach book. The setting is in the West. A young girl has to raise her siblings after a tragic accident and find a way to save the family farm.

Quick read

Quick read

I liked this book but figured out the plot early in my reading. I liked the family devotion and I do like romance.

Corny

Corny and predictable. Had high hopes, don't know what I expected, but could tell the whole story from the first couple pages. Sigh.

Good Mystery Romance

Good story weaving romance, action, and mystery together. A lot of unexpected twists and turns in this story, with a pretty surprising ending.
