A diverse, ecelectic look at what was going on in the Brooklyn art scene around 2003. The book covers everything from sound art to corporate design, installation to performance to sketchbooks. Starts out with a photographic-and-blurb introduction to neighborhoods of Brooklyn. Each artist is represented in 1-5 pages, and with the book being 240 pages long, readers are introduced to a plethora of new/upcoming artists. At this point, the catalog is not as current asit intended to be. Still, even as a recent artifact, it is valuable and interesting to view.
