Hardback, 255 pages, numerous photos and selections of artwork.

This book is about Alice Liddell, her family, their origins and what happened to each of them. It is filled with artistic sketches done by Alice and other members of her family. In my opinion the entire family, pretty much, were rather good artists.

There are also black and white and color photos and a family tree at the front of the book. The information is quite interesting especially when it relates to how people lived at that time and how they acted and were expected to act. There is some material, of course, about Dodgson and his interactions with Alice but the majority of the book deals with her, her family and her ancestors and descendants.

It's an enjoyable read.
