Four years ago, Julie Duncan took part in the hit reality TV show ‘Daughter of Famous Mothers’. She took part alongside her husband and her best friend but reality proved shocking as her world and relationships fell apart with her discovering her husband having an affair with someone else on the show. Now she’s struggling to find work, but then she is offered the opportunity to participate in a reunion of the participants from that original show. She agrees, providing the producer,

Reuniting Reality by Nikki LeClair is a book full of hilarious antics and outrageous moments that are wholly imaginable in a reality TV show setting. The book was a quick read with enough drama to keep me interested from beginning to end. I'm not much of a Real Housewives of Whatever-City fan and I don't tune in to The Bachelor, but this book had just the right amount of petty behavior and over-the-top shenanigans to keep me interested.

Julie Duncan starred on a reality tv show, Daughters of Fam

Reuniting Reality by Nikki LeClair is a cute romantic comedy that had me laughing out loud. Julie Duncan participated in a reality show called Daughter's of Famous Mothers where she was embarrassed when it was revealed her husband was having an affair. Four years later she agrees to do a reunion show, because she needs the money. I really enjoyed this book, sometimes you just need to escape from reality, and what better way. I recommend this book for anyone looking for a quick and fun read. I wi ...more

Fun read

I really enjoyed this book. The concept was original for me and all the conflict within the show was fun and intriguing. I didn't know what was coming next or who was doing what. Kept me turning page after page not wanting to take a break.

What would you do if one day you had everything and then you lost it all the next? That's exactly the situation Julie Duncan, star of a reality TV show called of Famous Mothers, finds herself in.

She has it all. Then, things change drastically for her as she has no choice but to move in with her sister and take any job just to survive.

Four years later, Julie's luck changes again as she sees a possible opportunity to make things better for herself.

Sound too good to be true? Julie will have to f

This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

I would first like to say a huge thank you to Nikki for sending me a copy of this wonderful book - the greatest birthday present a girl could get!

Julie Duncan lived her life through a reality TV show, 'Daughter of Famous Mothers'. Her life was great, she had the perfect boyfriend and the perfect best friend - until one day reality hits her hard in the face, as her world and relationships fall apart. She discovers that her husband has been having an affair with someone else on the show and someo

I have read past titles from Nikki LeClair and enjoy her creations, so I was looking forward to Reuniting Reality. Chick lit plus a reality TV show – I am there! Our main character is Julie Duncan, who once had it all. A solid career, a loving husband, great friends … until everything imploded. She lost both her husband and her best friend, and her career is barely hanging on by a thread. But she gets the chance to redeem herself and possibly win her best friend back by doing another reality sho ...more

I really enjoyed this book! I wish it was a series and not a stand alone. The drama was fantastic, and I loved how the the story is based around a reality tv show. The characters are all great, especially Declan - he’s my favorite. I’ve never read anything by this author before, but definitely will in the future.

Reuniting Reality is a fun quick girly read. It's an interesting story about a young woman that gets invited to be on a reality reunion from a reality show she was on years ago. The same reality show that lead to a ruined marriage, a falling out with a best friend, and a somewhat tarnished public reputation.

The main theme of the novel is the importance of having honest and open communication with the people that are closest in your life and also about recognizing when someone is being real and

Nikki LeClair, also known under her pen name Vivian Brooks, wasn't always a avid reader or writer. She picked it up during high-school when she came across Sophie Kinsella's Shopacholic series and the works of Jane Austen. Suddenly she found herself with high marks in her English and Writing classes, and part of the Yearbook club. Since then she's read more romantic comedies than she can list and ...more
