I'm a tad bit picky when it comes to picture books regarding Christ's birth. This one had elements I appreciated (the fact that the wise men were not at the stable as is customarily portrayed) and others I felt less happy about (the book just ending in a very weird place)
I felt this way aesthetically about the book too. Font choice made the book easy to read. The illustrations (namely the depiction of Gabriel) were too cutesy for my taste
