Keshav Raj Pindali, recipient of Gorkha Dakshin Bahu IV, Bandhini and Balchanda awards, belongs to this genre is a fine humorist whose prose is often interspersed with serious and thoughtful passages. He has written stories, poems, essays, novel and he became famous from his book Khai Khai, a collection of humorous essays. Banchne Euta Jindagi is his third novel which pictures the life and society of Rana palace and during that period so well that it looks very close with the reality. Not only that this novel tries to show how the modernism is breaking up the relationship which is leading the family and society as a mannerless and nuclear family so that it also teaches to be self independent for the better life.

मान्छे एउटै जिन्दगी बाँच्छ। पुनर्जन्ममा विश्वास गर्नुहुन्छ भने, अरू पनि थुप्रै बाँच्ला! अहिलेलाई एउटैमा सिमित हौँ।
एक मात्र यो जिन्दगीभरि मान्छे थुप्रै मोहमा बाँधिएको हुन्छ। मुख्यतः सन्तानप्रतिको मोह। उसलाई विश्वास हुन्छ, सन्तान बुढेसकालको सहारा हो। तर सहारा सोचिरहेको हात नै पत्तै नदिई हटिदियो भने? भने, ऊ बल्ल आफ्नो निम्ति बाँच्न सिक्छ। 'बाँच्ने एउटा जिन्दगी' ले आफ्नो लागि बाँच्न सिकाउँछ।
नयाँ पुस्ताको वैदेशिक जीवनप्रति मोह तथा स्वदेशी जीवनप्रति वितृष्णाले देखाउँछ कि प्रस्तुत पुस्तक आफ्नो समय भन्दा केही अघि थियो। वा भनौँ, यसमा भविष्यको चित्रण थियोे।
कथा राणा दरबारमा जागिरे एक सुब्बाको हो। प्रजातन्त्रभन्दा केही अघिको। यसले राणा दरबारभित्र मौलाउने यौन अतृप्तिको व्याख्यान गरेको छ। दरबारभित्रको ऐसआराम र चलखेलको वर्णन पाइन्छ यसमा।
