Enlightenment for Beginners: Discovering the Dance of the Divine

Rate this book
Enlightenment for Beginners is the simple story about how (and why) you've been cleverly imagining yourself to be only a separate and limited Being. After identifying the Reader as "Black Dot #1," the Author then shows how Life is only a wonderful Game of Pretending to NOT be "Black Dot #2"...better known as "The Other." Using easily understood words and drawings, the Author invites the Readers to discover that they already are "who" it is that they've been looking for. Enlightenment for Beginners is a great fun book for the entire family...adults and kids alike ...and is dedicated to everyone who is willing to discover who they REALLY are deep down...and then to have a good laugh about it!

This reminds me of the time i realized that nothing matters, and everything matters at the same time.
Reading through this really took me back, and it felt a little trippy to rethink such thoughts.
It’s the pretending to not pretend that gets me.
Good read for beginners!

I... am not sure what the hell I just read. It wasn't stupid or awful to read, so much as just very, very strange. If it were just a story, I wouldn't be so confused, but this is serious and I'm not sure what to think or how to feel about it. It feels a little bit like my mind is melting, not in the melting-and-accepting-everything-is-me kind of way Mr. Hillig probably envisioned, though.
