I wrote my Master's thesis on Park Chung-hee, easily one of the 5 greatest national leaders since WWII. This is a pretty decent read if you're interested in learning what this man thought about his country's situation less than a year before his assassination. When he took over the country South Korea was one of the poorest in the world. By the end of his reign its per capita income was in the top third of nations. An average book, and an incredibly impressive reign.
