If you're a die-hard Ohio State Buckeyes fan, you might have heard about the book that promised to give inside information on the team's football and basketball programs through the eyes of long-time broadcaster Paul Keels. However, if you're like many fans, you might be disappointed by what you find. While the book summarizes significant games during highly successful seasons, it must provide accurate inside information. Instead, it's mostly a report of who won what and how, which can get old fast. As a die-hard Buckeye fan, you might enjoy getting into the head of your favorite play-by-play guy, but if you're looking for something more profound and more insightful, you might want to look for something else to read. Save your time and money on a book that doesn't meet your expectations. Do your research before investing in something that might disappoint you. If you're looking for a book that delves deeper into the behind-the-scenes of the Ohio State program, there might be a better book for you. Look for something that gives you a different perspective on your beloved Buckeyes and satisfies your thirst for inside information.

While the title of this book promised inside information on the Ohio State football and basketball programs through the eyes of long-time broadcaster Paul Keels, it turned out to be a bit disappointing. Most of the information presented tended toward a recap of significant games during highly successful seasons. For most Buckeye fans, this was nothing new. There wasn’t much of what I would consider inside information. A sports related book that is mostly a report of who won what and how gets old really fast. If you are a die hard Buckeye you might enjoy getting into the head of your favorite play-by-play guy. If not, you might want to look for something else to read.

It was a good book, but I'm a little disappointed. I expected a few more insider stories that we hadn't heard before. And it wasn't written by Paul Keels, but by Zach Meisel with contributions at the end of each chapter from Keels and a few lines interspersed throughout the chapter. But I would still recommend it to any Buckeye fan, and I definitely read the whole thing in Paul Keels' voice in my head!
