Addison Murphy is the funny friend, the girl you grab a beer with—the girl voted most likely to start her own sweatshirt line. And now that one of her best guy friends is getting married, she’ll add “groomsman” to that list, too. She’ll get through this wedding if it’s the last thing she does. Just don’t ask her to dive for any bouquet.

Just One of the Groomsmen by Cindi Madsen

Things are changing for Tucker and Addie. And between them.
Friends to lovers story. A charming contemporary romance filled with poignant moments of self awareness and changing emotions.

Addie has been a tomboy all her life. Her best friends are the four men she grew up with. She plays football, plays poker and generally feels the most comfortable with them. But now that one of the four is getting married, she’ll need to wear a dress and heels to the wedd

If you are looking for a book that makes you smile and gives you the warm fuzzies, then this is definitely the book for you!

This is a cute, fun best friends to lovers romance that takes place in Uncertainty, a small town in Alabama. Addison is just one of the guys, in fact, her best friends are all guys. Now one of the guys is getting married and asks Addison to be one of his groomsmen. Tucker is one of Addison's best friends. He moved away to become a lawyer, now he's back in town and finds hi

5+ stars read for me!!

I LOVED this friends to lovers story. This is my first book by Cindi Madsen and her writing style sucked me in from the get-go. Despite not having much in common with tomboy Addison Murphy, I immediately bonded with her and felt her vulnerability so acutely, which is not an easy feat for a story tol
Cindi Madsen is the queen of feel good books. She writes these amazing characters that I can relate too, and feel for. This is the perfect vacation read, fun, uplifting, sexy and filled with good vibes.

This book centers around a man Tucker, who left his small town to practice law at a big city law firm only to find it didn't make him happy. He moves back home and runs into a pair of sexy legs sticking out from under a car that happen to belong to his childhood BFF and one of "the boys". This att

My first Cindi Madsen novel and it was FANTASTIC!!! The PERFECT Friends to Lovers small town romance... I loved every bit of it. The characters. The banter. The heart pangs that hurt so good. It all felt perfectly authentic with just the right amount of believable trepidation, reluctant attraction, and self preservation warring with unexpected emotion. So so so good!!!
3.5 stars

I’m a sucker for a good BFF to more story, but add in that it’s set in the south and I’m done.

I really liked Addie and Tucker. I enjoyed their history and banter. I liked that she was a tough smart ass who kept all of the boys in their place. He’s a little insecure about some things, but steadfast. I am 100000% here for the loyalty this group has for each other. I love love loved their friendships and it was probably the best part of the story.

Plot wise, it did drag a little for me. GR

I received a copy of this title via NetGalley. It does not impact my review.

I loved this book so much! It was such a fun, sweet Friends-to-More story and I couldn’t get enough of it.

I don’t really like to use words like “swoony” or “feels”, but Addie and Tucker made my cold, black heart feel all the feelings. I loved their friendship and I loved how it turned into more. The friendship lines aren’t really crossed until about halfway through the book and the slow burn was everything. I actually ma

I wanted to like this one. I really, really wanted to like it.

And, parts of it I actually did. Unfortunately, there were also parts of it I didn't love...and parts that got too long, and I ended up skimming the book. I was interested enough in it to want to know the ending and how it got there, but I wasn't invested enough to read all of the extra stuff that felt a lot like filler.

This for me is another win for Cindi Madsen. Really adored this book and the setting.

Sweet, friends to lover story with humor and some funny awkward and also smexy stuff.

I think what I like most about her books that they are light and fun and her characters are always relatable, both guys and girls.

Also no matter how many times it has been done and written, in this case friends to lover, she alwa

Note: This review is for an ARC and is my unbiased opinion.

It’s been a while since I have read a book by Cindi Madsen. I can’t even remember why really. I think there were maybe one or two books of hers that weren’t my thing, so I just didn’t pick up her next release or something. I’m really regretting that decision right now.

The title and cover of Just One of the Groomsmen caught my eye and my attention. I was really curious what being “just one of the groomsmen”

At least half of why I requested the ARC of this title had to do with the cover. It is so cute and vibrant and reminded me of another book (also about a wedding) that I loved. I had never heard of this author, but this will certainly not be the last book I read by her. I was delighted with this book within the first few pages, and it only got better as it went on, overall.

Addison (Addie) has unequivocally always been one of the guys (a set-up in fiction that isn't always enjoyable to read, for

So fun! So entertaining! So sweet! Loved this! Addie and Tucker were awesome. I love friends to lovers’ stories and this one was excellent.

I adored Addie. She had such a great attitude and big heart. She was totally comfortable in her own skin, I loved that about her. Tucker was wonderful. So sweet and totally caught off guard by his attraction to one of his best friends. I loved learning about them and their histories growing up. It was so fun! I loved the build to their growing feelings, the l

This book was super cute!!! It gave me all the warm and good fuzzies about love. It was perfect to read right before my wedding :)

This was such a sweet friends to lovers story with a mix of sexiness! This was my first read by Cindi Madsen and it definitely won't be my last!

What I loved about this? It's so light, fun, and the characters are so relatable! I couldn't get enough of Tucker and Addie. Their history and chemistry is so fun!!!

Despite the story being predictable it doesn't even matter. L

Just One of the Groomsmen was my introduction to Cindi Madsen. This will definitely not be the last of her books that I read. Abbie and Tucker have been best friends since forever. So, he took the plunge and quit his job and went back home to Uncertainty. That is wher

I loved this book and could not put it down. In fact, I wasn't too busy at work and read some of it there (but don't tell my boss!).

This small town in Alabama has a group of friends, 4 guys and 1 girl, that bonded and became the best of friends. Now one of them is getting married and it has brought back one friend to share in the celebration. Tucker doesn't know what hits him when he sees Addie's legs sticking out from under a car. Cindi Madsen is a new author to me and I have no idea why that is. I loved this book. From chapter one until the end the story that Ms.Madsen wove had me thoroughly entertained and captivated.

I was honestly starting to wonder if I was in a bit of a slump, and I was starting not to trust my feelings about books. Just One of the Groomsmen is book one in the next series by author Cindi Madsen. It’s about life and coming of age in a small Southern town. And falling in love with your very best friend. Fans of Hallmark movies will love this book. And speaking of Hallmark, Cindi just announced that she’s been signed with Hallmark publishing!

Do you ever need that guaranteed book to make you smile? The one that delivers just what it promises? This is that kind of book.

This is a FUN story read as I call them because there is a lot of laughter, passion and just life. Tucker is a man who left his hometown to pursue his happiness, sadly being what he is (the successful lawyer) isn't what made him happy after-all. When he moves back home and run's into HER again, hi

This was my first Cindi Madsen book and I really enjoyed it. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I love a good friends to lover romance and this story fit the bill. I love the bond that Addie had with all of her boy-friends. The fact that she was just “one of the guys” from high school really cemented the relationship she had with all of them. Of course Tucker was one of her closest friends and that’s where it gets complicated.
I love a book that actually lets us get a feel for the character

It has to be different living in a town called Uncertainty. I would think there would be a lot of jokes about people being uncertain about many things. I am certain that Addie and her best friends were not the norm, especially since she was the only girl with four guys as her best friends! Tucker, one of the best friends, had moved away to be part of a law practice, but was not happy. I loved how the “guys” always got together to play poker, football, drink, and watch football. I have never know ...more

Very cute! So this is a friends to lovers story. Addie and Tucker have been friends since they were kids, in fact these two along with three other boys have hung out all their lives. Addie's is your quintessential tomboy who loves watch football, playing poker, or playing football with her friends. Tucker has been away for few years getting his education and working.
