God, is it your will to move this way in my life?

A 30 minute blessing.

It took 30 minutes to read this small testimony of revival in Scotland, yet it encourages the reader to do more than read. What a motivation to pray and ask that the the Lord would do the same in our town.

Revival?

Great read on the Holy Spirit's work in bringing revival. This book was very helpful as I personally am asking God for revival in my own life and ministry. Highly recommend it you are burdened by the need of a spiritual awakening.

An accurate account of the Hebrides Revival

This is a great read. It is an inspiring story about two sisters who could not attend church, so they simply began praying. Prayer is the ministry. Humble Prayer is what God desires in us and from us.

The Lewis Awakening is Duncan Campbell's telling of the events that occurred to this small area of Scotland. God moved in this area before Campbell's arrival. Once he got there he became a part of an exceptional awakening to God through his Holy Spirit. A great story that helped me understand the event.

For my entire life and ministry I have been praying for and seeking a God-sent revival. The church needs to be revived or it will not be able to effectively reach a lost and dying world. Entertainment based worship makes “Christians” who are following a feeling. Our need is for worship in spirit and in truth that draws disciples closer to the Lord so they are energized to go anywhere, speak to anyone, and do anything to advance His kingdom. Reading about the Lewis Awakening rekindled my hope. I know that God can do it again. Are we willing to be vessels that He can use?
