Just No...SPOILERS
SPOILERS I laughed a lot through the first story, but I don't think it was supposed to be funny. I really hate to say this, but the first story, the title story, was a train wreck. The heroine, Connie, wants to have a baby because her last two boyfriends could not perform, and she thinks there is something wrong with her. Yeah, farfetched, but it could still be cute. It is not. Connie is broke...like living in a slummy apartment, college debts broke. There is no mention of how she plans on supporting a child on her Ramen-style budget. Enter Dr. Chase. Chase is very creepy. The medical details given seem to indicate that he got his credentials from a Cracker Jack box. Not to worry. Connie is an idiot and believes whatever he says. But Chase is a silver tongued devil as is evident by his use of such descriptive words to describe Connie's "rump" as "huge" and "enormous" and her breasts as "boobies". The poetry flowed from him throughout the whole story. It actually brought a tear (of laughter) to my eye. The author described Chase as an "alpha" throughout the whole story...over and over. It might have actually made an interesting drinking game; one takes a shot every time the word "alpha" is used. But, alcohol poisoning is rather unattractive, and I don't drink. Still, it was almost tempting because this story was really painful to read. It is NOT romantic AT ALL. It is not even palatable. I felt like it was written by a twelve year old boy who had gotten into his father's skin magazine collection, and was basing a romance off of those. Just no.

Wtf?!!! Um, is this a joke? Because it has to be. There is no way in hell someone wrote this as a serious book. It sounds like a bad porn written by a horny teenage guy who knows nothing about woman, doctors or even proper use of grammar. This book was stupid, creepy and very immature. And I didn't even get past the second chapter. Calling this book a medical romance is an insult to the medical community, because I guarantee you, if a doctor has talked like that to a patient or even "performed an exam" on her IN HIS PERSONAL OFFICE NOT AN EXAM ROOM, he would be in jail right now! I wish I would have read the reviews first. There is no way anyone would have willingly given this book 5 stars. They had to have been paid to write those reviews. Trust me on this, don't waste your time.

Book #2 of the #BABYCRAZY series, Ms. Dee and Ms. Ford spin a cute novella that easy to read despite how much I really detest reading novellas because they seldom start and finish a tale well. These two do manage to do so, and it’s great brain candy as long as you don’t have any bad experiences or PTSD moments involving anal sex. The only reason why I bring this up is that there is a group of reviewers who request that they be notified if a book does contain anal sex. Okay, it does! If you have issues about it, then don’t read this book! (I do not agree with downgrading a book review-wise because it includes a sexual position that makes you vomit. A writer doesn’t deserve that kind of abuse just in case you have issues. That’s what we call “personal preferences” and has nothing to do with reviewing.)
Connie is a woman/virgin who really wants to have kids. Her only sexual partners have been two guys who couldn’t get it up with her, and this is giving her serious questions on whether or not this might be due to her and not them. So she attends a class where the local fertility specialist educates his audience the IVF process is performed by his clinic (nice advertisement!). Chemistry erupts between the two of them immediately! She wants babies without having to deal with a guy in her life, and he wants babies without the need for a relationship. He offers to get her pregnant “the old-fashioned way” for free specifically to her. She initially gives her response — she refuses politely. He says fine, but wants to have sex with her anyway because he’s a busy kind of guy and deserves a little reward. Did I say she finds him absolutely luscious? You can only guess where this story goes.
Yes, it’s brain candy. And when Connie finds out later she’s pregnant (due to all that old-fashioned attempts at fertility treatments), she’s now realizing that she wants more than just a co-parent in her life. She wants a relationship, but he’s already stated that he isn’t made to do relationships. What now?
For being such a short novella, Ms. Dee/Ford manage to craft two characters that are fun and happy with their initial decision to get together and be a couple. She loves being at home. He loves coming home to such a wonderful housewife whose getting banged every night because she enjoys the sex. Yes, there is an HEA so don’t worry!
I appreciate that we don’t get into the angst game. I’m sick and tired of the heroine pining over her feelings and the need to disappear because she doesn’t trust her partner to reacting positively to the “I’m pregnant!” declaration. I wish the end didn’t come as so much as a rush, but it doesn’t feel rushed, does that make any sense? If anything, I would have liked a longer epilogue, but I love epilogues more than the usual reader, so it isn’t a horrible error in craft. (I won’t spoil the surprise!)
I do wish there had been better proofreading. Lots of misspellings, more so than the average spellchecker would be making. (Considering I just received an advertisement of “Yes! You, too, can be a proofreader without much education!”, I’m shuddering at the thought of how these two managed to published some of these errors. Gah! Girls! I’d do it for free without credit just so that this book would look more professional!) Continuity isn’t bad at all, considering that I’m a physician and can spot poor medical research a mile away. Dee/Ford doesn’t base their story strictly on medical. It’s romance and intimacy which they do manage better than other authors. That’s the only reason why I didn’t give this story a 2.5 stars.

When another relationship ends badly for Katie she starts to worry about how long she has to have a baby. She asks her friend to go with her to a fertility clinic to see what their chances were. Once there they see a picture of the gorgeous doctor they'll be talking to and can't believe he runs the place. When Chase enters the room to discuss fertility with the women he notices one right off and is instantly attracted. He loves the curves she has in all the right places and he can tell she is attracted to him as well. After the talk he offers one on one time to go over some options. Even though Katie knows she can't afford his prices she goes. The heat between them is electrifying when they are in his office. Chase offers another solution for Katie since she can't pay he'll have a child with her. Chase has wanted a child for awhile and never met someone he wanted one with until he saw Katie. The way Chase put the offer out was cold and impersonal so Katie went the next evening to tell him she didn't want to accept it. However Chase wasn't about to let Katie get away from him and they end up having sex. Can Chase change his mind and being willing to have a real relationship with Katie? Can Katie accept what Chase offers if love isn't involved?
This was an amazing story about two people that want to have a baby and find the solution in each other. The chemistry between Chase and Katie is scorching hot. This is a well written fast paced story. You'll be entertained from beginning to end with this story. I can't wait for more from these authors in the future.

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through arc.
Connie really wanted a baby and her two boyfriends before had a hard time getting it up. Connie and her friend Ashley goes to this fertility clinic for the information session. Dr. Chase Roman was known to have great success in the field of fertility treatments and delivery. Chase takes one look at Connie to see that she was fertile and wanted her to have his baby. After their initial visit Chase knew he had to make it happen. Connie went to see him again and then he realized it was time to make his move. He asks her if she would like his arrangement of impregnating her and they would coparent the child.
She told him that she would think about it but, he told her she had until midnight. Connie goes to his penthouse to tell him she could not accept his business arrangement. But, that changed once she got there they wind up having sex.
Connie winds up staying at his penthouse most of the time. Connie kept her apartment because she wasn't sure how it was going to work out. When Connie goes into work one of her coworkers asked if she was pregnant because she had that glow. Connie panics and goes to the drug store to get a pregnancy test. Sure enough she was pregnant after taking 5 tests now she was afraid to tell Chase because she thought about the arrangement.

In this book we meet Connie and Chase Roman. Connie has goals in her life and so far none of them have gone the way she planed. Now what she wants is a child of her own. So she hears that the most prominent fertility clinic is giving a free class. She wonders will this give her a chance to really have it all?
Chase is looking for the perfect woman to have his children. Though he has a prominent business that has him wanted by women all over. He still can’t seem to find the one thing he wants that is until he sees Connie. He knows fertility and one look at her he knows she has the perfect body to have his children. He wonders though can he get her to see it as well?
This is an amazing book. There are ups and downs that I really want to tell you all about. I however don’t want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

A very well written short romance story with a great storyline and plot. Two well described and developed main characters.
I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters.
I like to know what happens next, so the epilogue was welcomed.
A 25 year old virgin - not by choice - wants to have a child. One evening she goes to a meeting at a clinic to hear some tricks and tips. It is very expensive but there are other ways to get pregnant. But does she agree to do it?
I love these two characters. They are very likeable but I would have like to hear a bit more about their past. To have more depth in them especially about Chase. The friend of Connie - Ashley - was only in the story for a few pages but she annoyed me a lot.

When Connie's last relationship breaks up she realises that her chances of being a mother may be slipping by and visits a fertility clinic where she attracts to the attention of Dr Chase Roman. When she discovers that the cost is beyond her means Chase offers her an alternative. Connie was the perfect woman to carry his baby and offers to impregnant her the normal way and care for her and the baby in the future. It would mean both their wishes for a child would be granted and before long Connie becomes pregnant. This was an entertaining read, full of spice and romance as two lonely people are granted their wish to become parents and find love at the sametime.

so this one was a little strange. Connie wasn't fully "there" I felt like she stressed about stuff that made no sense. So Connie feels like she can't get pregnant because every guy (only 2) that she has been with hasn't been able to get it up. But she also has NEVER had sex before.... I feel like my issue would be what is physically wrong with me that these guys can't get it up when I'm naked...not oh damn maybe they can sense that I'm not fertile and that is why they can't get it up?? like really?
Then she ends up having 5 fucking kids at one time? Since when has that ever happened without fertility treatments which she wasn't on because he believed she was "so fertile" that he could do it the old fashioned way without assistance! over the sex had its hot moments but the details didn't do it for me.

I received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review. I really enjoyed reading this quick, funny and quirky little romance between Chase and Connie. Connie is a twenty-five year old virgin who meets a fortyish year old Chase. Connie has arrived at the conclusion that there is something wrong with her that she is defective in some way. She goes to an information evening at Chase's fertility clinic to get more info. Chase sees Connie and is immediately drawn to her. When they have a private consultation she reveals what she was worried about. He finds he is really attracted to her and on their second encounter he propositions her. Well the fun begins. “BabyMaker” is a wonderful, well-written short and fun story. The plot involves Connie a twenty-five year old woman who desperately wants to have a baby. All her ex's have not been able to perform so goes to a seminar at a fertility clinic. There she meets Chase a fertility doctor who himself wants a house full of children. Upon meeting, the chemistry between Chase and Connie is sizzling hot. Chase knows that Connie cannot afford the fertility treatments so he suggests they do it the old fashioned way. What a hoot! If your looking for a quick read with steamy sexy, a bit of fun and of course romance “BabyMaker” is for you. Give it a try.

Another fantastic read by these two authors, on their own they are fantastic but together they have the wow factor. Connie wants a baby badly and with another relationship down the drain she gets a friend to go with her to a fertility clinic. Chase is the doctor at the fertility clinic and he has always wanted a child but he hasn’t ever found the right woman. When Connie and Chase meet they are instantly attracted to each other, Connie can’t afford the fertility treatments so Chase offered Connie another solution. Does Connie accept his offer? A sweet sexy romance that I loved to bits, a well written storyline and very imaginative and I loved these characters. It was such a great read and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

Connie is quite naive in a way, especially when the handsome doctor Chase Roman calls you sweetheart. Mind you, having a hot doctor like him, you wouldn’t mind!!! Chase is totally smitten with Connie from the beginning and he was a man in a mission. Wanting Connie AND a baby. Really Connie had no chance as you knew he was determined to get what he wanted.
A really beautiful story and I love babies anyway, plus a hot doctor thrown in......just perfect.

Now this was a down and dirty book about a doctor! Chase is the leading fertility specialist and he wants to be a dad. Connie is a virgin but wants to make sure sure will be able to have kids. I certainly started to feel the clock, as it were, when I turned 27, so my heart went out to Connie. At 25 years old she wants to have a baby. This brings her to Dr. Chase. He's not only hot and sweet, but he has a certain proposition that would certainly help her attain her goal. The bumps are obvious, given that she's this patient, but the chemistry is amazing from the moment they meet, and the love isn't far behind. This book has perfect heat, excellent writing and a huge heart at the core. I read this book is one go, and highly recommend it. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.

This is a quick steamy love story about Chase and Connie. Chase is a fertility doctor and Connie goes to a meeting at his office with her best friend as she has some fears about being able to have a baby. It’s great to see Chase has a reaction to Connie from the start. Connie is a curvy young virgin and Chase is a very successful doctor. They both realize they want to have a baby, could they make it work between them? Connie can not afford the cost and Chase wants to make a baby the old fashioned way! What a great romance that will have you page turning and wanting more. Cassandra and Katie have done a great job with this story line and character development. You'll fall in love with Connie and Chace. She wants a baby so bad and feels that her clock is ticking so she visits a fertility clinic where she meets Dr Chase. She can't afford the treatment so he suggests they do it the old fashion way. Their chemistry is off the charts. A good read that I read as a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Connie and Chase start out meeting in an unusual setting for a love story, but that helps develop where they end up going from their initial meeting. One thing I have always loved about Dee's books is that she isn't afraid to go away from Barbie or cheerleader bodied heroines. She makes them real girl next door women that you can relate too. Read this great book to see what happens and why Dee has you waiting and wanting her next story with a great desire.

Just LOVE these books/stories by Cassandra Dee. This is a super quick read (comparably speaking) that not only works for a wonderful tale, but is well written and keeps your interest with Kindle melting hotness. You have your super hot, steamy doctor and a girl that is looking to get pregnant...read the book and find out how this all works out! No spoilers here. Friends to lover type story which actually makes your heart thump, the chemistry is apparent from the second they meet AND tied up nicely with an HEA. Just go get this book now, you won't be sorry.

It was a cute, sweet, quick read. Dr. Chase Roman is a fertility doc. Connie is a 25 year old who wants a baby, doesn't have any prospects(boyfriends or hubby) for the potential to have a baby, even though she couldn't afford to have a baby through invitro, but still wanted a baby. Even if she got pregnant, she couldn't afford to raise her baby which is something I couldn't get out of my head. Anyway.....The story was hot, sexy and fun. I enjoyed it, Dr. Roman and his dirty talk makes me blush.

I'm all for an easy, mindless read. But I just couldn't with this book, it was bad, every aspect. I can handle a bad plot, everyone likes different themes they enjoy. But did no one proofread? And I'm not talking grammar. I'm talking basic knowledge.
He talks about "I just met this woman last night" Yet it was still the same night he met her.
"Epilogue - 3 years later... toothless grins breaking across their faces" They are toddlers, toddlers have teeth!
This book is riddled with ridiculousness like that.

There is Connie who while she is a virgin, really wants a baby. She goes to a fertility clinic but doesn't know if she can afford it. Then there is Dr. Chase who wants a baby as well. Their is definite chemistry between them. Will they do it the old fashion way? Very steamy book with good character development and storyline that has you rooting for them. Enjoy!!

Chase and Connie don’t have a choice from the word go, they both immediately attracted to one another and he’s determined to get her to have his baby. She wants a baby or she wouldn’t have gone into his office to begin with, but not exactly the way he plans it. Their chemistry is one that would set the world on fire and the quickness that it escalates is amazing. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

I really like the writing of Katie Ford and Cassandra Dee. It just clicks! So with that said...I thoroughly enjoyed this book. You have Connie a 25 year old virgin who really wants a baby. She goes to a fertility clinic and meets the oh so hot Dr. Chase. The chemistry right from their first meeting was sizzling! This is a oh so hot sexy, but sweet romance. A sweet hot and fun read!
