Excellent story depicting the horror among young women

This novel is well written, though in somewhat broken English. The poetic way Crown writes draws in the reader and creates a beautiful story of a heroine who strives for a dream to help girls like her. The story reveals a horribly sad culture of child abuse in child marriage, sex trafficking, and poverty among young girls who are alone and susceptible to abuse. Unbending

I like this story bc it came from a different story that I'm uses to!! Some Africa ppl are raised different then some but how can u have sex with a child that's so young and then just throw her away bc of something that was out of her control.
