I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. Although, this is not my typical genre, I absolutely loved it. I could not put it down!
In this world of faerie, young werewolves bond with young faeries to protect them from vampires before they reach maturity and obtain their magic.
I kinda wish there was more about Runa and Konnor's relationship and stuff! but overall, really good read!
I’m so excited to read more by this author!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I thought the story of wolves protecting the far was very well written although I think I would’ve liked a few chapters on Runa and Konnor when they met originally

I’m so excited to read more by this author! I throughly enjoyed this novel. I read it in three sittings (May 6th, 7th, then 20th..... making time to read while being a high school senior is hard okay? I’m busy writing papers and studying for finals). Anyways, loved this book!

Review hopefully coming soon! (Probably after graduation)

I received this wonderful book this morning from #netgalley and @oftomespublishing to read and review. It was just released on June 21st, and the synopsis definitely got my attention.
Runa is a werewolf, bound to protect a fae before his powers are fully developed on his 19th birthday. This binding is due to a treaty between the fae and the werewolf clans, as protection from vampires who have a special affinity for fae blood.
Runa has a problem, however; she has fallen in love with her bondmat

Genre: Sci-fi and fantasy, Romance.

I love paranormal romance, and this sounded intriguing, with some serious conflict happening. Sadly the conflict only lasted a short while before everyone was happy and friends :-( From there it became a fairly simple story of friendship that quickly turned to more, a few vampire clashes, meeting others in the extended family, and a neat twist towards the end, throwing everything Luna believes

In this world of faerie, young werewolves bond with young faeries to protect them from vampires before they reach maturity and obtain their magic. Runa was planned to bond with Konner but a traumatic vampire attack left her an orphan and she bonded with her deceased friend’s intended out of obligation. It was a horrible match and Runa was treated poorly. Finally, he requested the bond be dissolved and she was sent to guard Konner, who would reach maturity in a few months. Their relationship was ...more

I enjoyed this fantasy novel quite a lot. It is set in the land of the Fae . It is very unique in that it features the relationship between a werewolf girl Runa and a fae boy Konnor. Very unusual!!! In this world there is an agreement between the Fae and Werewolves that has been in place for many years. In exchange for the the werewolves being able to live in the Fae kingdom in safety from humans they are bound to protect a young fae until they reach adulthood when they will get their "magic". I was excited to read a vampire novel only to quickly realize they are the bad guys in this world. Oh my! Werwolves who can change into human form and must protect their faeling until they reach magical maturity. I read this on Shakespeare Sunday, which is most appropriate. A fun read where you will root for Runa and feel for Rowan, perhaps swoon for Konner. A paranormal Romance with a capital R. I recommend it. I agree, a prequel (if it doesn't exist already...I'll have to check) would be great ...more

I wasn't sure what to expect but I was happy with how this all played out. There were some conflict, yes, and Runa seem to have accumulated more than her fair share of males to bond with. But, alas, her heart belonged to Konner. It was an interesting paranormal romance, and something I probably wouldn't have even noticed if not for Netgalley but I enjoyed it. ...more

Intended Bondmates is a sweet and interesting paranormal romance that certainly puts our hero and heroine through hell trying to get to the other side. This story twists and turns and throws a couple of surprises in for good measure. I really enjoyed.

Relationships are never easy. Runa need to balance her bond with another against what her heart wants. This romance is set in the middle of a war between werewolves and vampires. The author did a good job describing the indecisions and risks that occur between mates.

D. Lieber tells a good tale. The story is for the romantic at heart, with true love prevailing over all. It was an interesting read with lots of unique characters.
