Jayden “Hatchet” Hatcher is the Enforcer for the Rebel Guardians MC. He hides his past behind jokes, and will do anything for the brothers he has now. Life is good with easy women and plenty of fun. Until she walks into the barbeque that fateful summer weekend.
Donna Jo “DJ” Feldman is a single mom to Ralynn. On her own since she found out she was pregnant, she has a handful of people she trusts implicitly, including her best friend, Caraleigh Jensen. When she goes to visit Cara and meets the man they call Hatch, she realizes that life is too short not to reach for the brass ring.
What started out as a bit of fun soon turns into so much more for the two of them. But Hatch has unknown skeletons and when they come calling, will what DJ feels for him be enough? Can they survive with the love they have for one another and with their Rebel Guardians family at their back?

I have been an avid reader for most of my life. When I was younger I used to sit and fill spiral notebooks full of stories. As I got older, I took the jobs needed for raising my boys as a single mom, until I met my now amazing husband. I have stopped working in the last three years and started promoting authors, then I blogged and reviewed for authors, which lead me down the path to writing and creating characters and stories. I love creating behind the scenes with my writing getting to use my imagination and write the story as it comes to me. My youngest is now a senior in High School leaving me with some spare time on my hands to be filled. I am loving the people I am meeting and the support system I have found. Loved this story. Loved that they were together from the beginning. Little ow drama, but the H didn't care for her. Safety: there is abuse of children, not descriptive, just read the injuries. Great story.

Hatchet is the second book in the Rebel Guardians Mc and is was amazing. DJ and Hatchet were a great couple and their chemistry was off the charts. I loved the side characters and am looking forward to their story's.
This book is everything that I want in an MC romance! It is full of love, bikers, and family! It picks up where book 1, Braxton, left off, so its best if you've read that one first!
DJ is a single mother, strong and loyal, and exactly what Hatch needs. Hatch is the Enforcer for the Rebel Guardians MC, and is everything good that a biker can be. He is protective, dependable, and knows what he wants. And he wants DJ.
Hatch is a big teddy bear, when it comes to DJ and her daughter! The way he treats them makes me melt! And DJ is so supportive of Hatch, even with everything that is thrown at them in this book, she really is perfect for him!
This book is full of surprises, and I was totally taken off guard several times (in a good way!) These two authors have really taken the best of both of their writing styles and meshed them together to produce an amazing MC story that both left me satisfied, and wanting more! I can't wait to see what is in store for the Rebel Guardians in the next story!
Jayden "Hatchet" Hatcher never considered himself a family man but the moment he met Donna Jo "DJ" Feldman he knew she and her daughter were his family. Hatch is the Enforcer for Rebel Guardian MC and is moving quickly to secure his future with DJ. He wasn't expecting drama surrounding a club hanger on though, one he had not ever even been with but is determined to keep him and DJ apart. What she never expects though is DJ being a firecracker and trying to fix it herself.
This picked up right where Braxton left off. I would have liked to see this couple where it all began, you kind of know their story but not all of it. This is a good series, I like the characters and curious to see who is next for a book.
Hatchet is a Beautiful continuation of the Rebel Guardians MC with Hatchet and DJ - Donna Jo as the Main Characters a long with DJ’s spunky daughter Ralynn. Hatchet, a Wild MC member with a comedic attitude is sheltering a shattered heart left by the one woman he thought was his forever lady. But then comes along the feisty, spirited Donna Jo and his world spins off axis. From the moment he hears her giving one of his Brothers lip, he knows he needs to do all he can to get to know this woman and put a claim on her before one of the other Brothers notice what a catch she is. DJ, a single mom to Ralynn, an Adult Romance Novelist and best friend of Caraleigh Jensen. The woman who has won the heart of Axe, the RGMC’s President. When DJ and Ralynn decide to come out for a visit, she had no Idea how much her life was going to change. Incredible continuation with Amazing characters and a storyline full of emotional upheaval. So many lives will change in this second book of this Series and I cannot wait to see what is coming in the rest of this great Series! I laughed, I cried, I cheered on one of the best Cat Fights I ever read and I was touched more than I can express with the love and open hearts these two characters have for those lives around the. An absolutely amazing read, I recommend this Series to any and all lovers of the MC Families, those that love a good emotional cry with a great HEA!💕 Well Done! Waiting impatiently for the next book to come!🌺
Hatchet is the enforcer of the Rebel Guardians MC who has been burnt by love in the past and his only loyalty is to his brothers.
DJ has learnt that men are not to be trusted and that is why she is a single mother to her daughter Ralynn since Ralynn’s father wants nothing to do with either of them ever since she found she was pregnant.
Hatchet is attracted to DJ’s feisty personality and DJ is attracted to how protective and caring that Hatchet is so they decide to give love another chance but will they be able to overcome when the past resurfaces?
This is the second book in the series and I am loving this series. It manages to combine emotion, humor and love into a story you won’t soon forget.
Hatchet blew me away just like Braxton, the first book in the Rebel Guardians MC series. Hatchet is a tough alpha biker but he shows the loving side of himself to DJ and to Ralynn, DJ's daughter. When Hatchet loves he loves with his whole heart and he isn't afraid to let it be known. I think that is what I like best about this book. Hatchet and DJ both have huge hearts. Family is what comes first. Either by blood or choice. DJ is a strong independent woman and her past with other men has been complicated. This storyline pulled at my heart strings. Get the kleenex ready. I want more!
Hatch and DJ are the sweetest, most loving couple that I have read about in a long time! The love they have for each other is awe inspiring!! I am so happy with how DJ dealt with Starla! Bravo!!! This book, hell this series is so brilliantly written!! It flows seamlessly, it sucks you in and carries you away. I just love this book so much!!! I want to give it 100 stars!!! Looking forward to book 3!
Hatchet had given up on love until DJ and her daughter. Little did he know not just his choices to get over the heart ache but his ex's secret will turn his world upside down years later.
DJ never felt as she does with Hatch. Her daughter loves him to. Little does she know she will have life changing experiences.
When to hearts are broken by their ex's neither expect them to be mended as they meet. What is Hatch's unexpected surprise? Read to learn.
Well that gave me a book hang-over from hell!!! I liked this one better than the first. The salon part was just gut wrenching hilarious!!! You 2 have out done yourselves on this one. It has drama, suspense, comedy, and heartwarming moment. I cried sad and happy tears. I haven't had a book that I literally could not put down. I had to see what would happen next. Awesome!!!!
Hatch and DJ are an awesome couple. She is the perfect combo of sweet and badass. He is a hot, alpha, that loves with his whole heart. This is book 2 and picks up where book 1 ends, and is an emotional rollercoaster . This book is full of love, sacrifice, family, loyalty, and alpha bikers! I can't wait for book 3.
This one was definitely much better than the first book. I did not want to put this one down and flew through it in one sitting. Will most likely finish with this series after reading book 2.
This book was well written and endearing. I tend to like my MC books a bit more edgy but this makes a nice change. The characters are interesting and suit the storyline and it’s an easy to read book. For anyone who likes a good romance this book is a good read.
Hatchet is book two of this series.. I enjoyed it but this is not like other MC books. This story is based more on the couples living outside the club and their lives. I enjoy all the characters, I just wanted Hatchet to be more alpha..but I loved his big heart. DJ aka Donna Jo is a tough female, she reminds me at times a momma bear. Happy Reading !!!
Okay I've never laugh so much while reading a book, this couple had me going from the get go, Laugh, Love, Passion, it has it all. A grown man afraid of a little pedicure, it was hilarious, will recommend and giving this book 5 stars.
In Braxton (Book 1) of the Rebel Guardians MC series, DJ rolled into town to visit her bestie, Cara, and ended up staying, as she & Jayden 'Hatchet' Hatcher found an attraction that knocked them both for a loop, but something they wanted to explore. He's got some demons from his past, so she's the first woman that he's been willing to try it with, as there's something about her, and her tiny human, Ralynn, has him wrapped around her finger. Their chemistry is such that they're setting the sheets on fire, and/or walls, furniture, etc, you get the picture, so it doesn't take long before he makes her his. However, he gets a huge shock from his past, will what they have be enough to see him through? As much as I loved the first book, this story became my favorite, as it was something else. First of all, there was some serious angst within the pages, which had my heart hurting. I'm not willing to go into details because of spoilers, so you'll have to take my word for it until you read it for yourselves. Next, the tiny humans have expanded some with Ralynn added in, and again, they stole the show for me, because they totally keep me rolling in loud belly laughing throughout. Not to mention, these tough bikers dealing with the little divas made it even more hilarious (pedicures & organisms). And DJ, she is no joke, so her bad a**ery kept me laughing hard as well. Now, the twists were bigger, so the f-bomb dropping was louder when some questions were answered, but then more questions were left. How is Ms. Parker & Ms. Tallman gonna do us that way huh?! Anyway, it's off to read the next book in the series for my next set of answers & a new couple! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I loved this book! Hatchet will touch your heart and soul. It's heartbreaking. It's funny.
DJ is a single mom raising her daughter Ralynn. She an author. Smart mouth, independent and fiesty.
Hatchet hides his past behind jokes. He's the enforcer for the Rebel Guardians who have legit companies. No criminal activity at all. He's crazy about DJ and Ralynn and plans a future with them.
When Trinity is called in to help Maysen, Hatch's past has come back to haunt him in good and bad ways.
Talon is seeking help from Hatch due to his foster parents abuse.
Loved the cat fights!! DJ's kick azz side comes out when the truth is revealed about the incident at the hospital.
Hilarious when Hatchet and Braxton take their five and six year old daughters to the salon for a pedicure and manicure.
“You’re being mean, if you doesn’t stops I’m telling Momma,” oh shit, she’s pulling the mom card out on me.
Overhearing her Daddy's conversation in the car..
Maysen innocently asks me, “Daddy what’s an organisms?”
DJ learns from her daughter what happened at the salon and the conversation on the ride back.
“I can’t believe that our five and six-year-old daughters have to get onto you and tell you to behave yourselves. Who’s the adult in this situation anyways?”
Hatchet is afraid once again of losing his man card.
“we’ll be better next time.” What are we five? Getting into trouble from the mommies . I want to puff out my chest and remind myself that I am a man still.
Hatchet was a good 4 star read and book 2 in the Rebel Guardians MC.
Hatchet is the enforcer for the MC. Donna Jo aka “DJ” is a single mom and writer who unexpectedly decided to move to the area to live near her best friend Caraleigh who is the MC president’s old lady. There are so many opportunities for her that she couldn’t pass up.
When these two meet it’s instant attraction, the chemistry came off the pages. Hatchet was very protective of DJ and her daughter Ralynn. Hatchet is a tough biker with a big heart. DJ is the first woman that has made him feel this way again. He has someone from his past that hurt him deeply.
I loved both of these characters. DJ was spunky, sassy and strong. Hatchet was the hot tough alpha biker. My emotions were up and down, and we get some great cat fights as well. All of the secondary characters were great. I am really liking this series and can’t wait to read more. Both of these authors pulled me right in with their writing. 1-click and get started today.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Reviewed by MAustin from Alpha Book Club
I'm seeing a trend with these books.. Things move very fast in the Rebel Guardian world. Hatch and Donna Jo are seen a lot in book 1 but this is their chance to tell their story. Hatch is very good with DJ's daughter and has a heart for children in general. He has an ex that hurt him bad but she was also holding a secret. There's also that little issue with the Jensens and Starla. This is handled early in the book and I was just hoping for a little bit more drama. It was good but I wanted more hair pulling and punching. I mean she is a soon to be MC old lady, she had to defend her man. These two are madly in love and doesn't let anything stand in their way. Every obstacle that is thrown their way is handled with care and understanding. The family of 3 becomes a whole lot bigger in this book and it handles foster care in a beautiful way... granted in real life, it could take a little longer to foster and adopt kids then it did in here. They are a remarkable couple who opened their hearts and doors to kids who need to feel loved.
This is the second book in the RGMC series. The main characters are Hatchet and DJ. If you have read the 1st book in the series you know DJ is Cara's best friend. DJ and her daughter Ralynn come for a visit and decide to stay. Hatchet is the enforcer of the club and falls head over heals for his 2 girls. There are a few bumps along the way. It all turns out for the best for their happy family. I loved how DJ is a confident woman not afraid to speak her mind and stands up for those she loves. Her sassiness and the way she speaks her mind is great. Dalton is her 6 year old daughter who pulls you in with how cute she is and how resilient she is with the BIG changes happening in her family. Of course we get to catch up with Braxton, Cara, Luca, and Lily oh and Nan as well. We get to meet a few more of the MC members and I for 1cant wait to read ALL of their stories.
hatch was a good read . i liked the insta love thing between him and DJ and how he took to DJ's lil girl Raylan like ahe was his own . i love the kids in this series the age of five and six year olds and the things that pop out of their mouths are so funny. i related to this book in alot of ways as i am a foster mother and as a carer the challenges we face on a daily basis is sometimes heartbreaking and sad but most of the time wonderful amazing and a beautiful thing to watch as these children slowlt start to come out of their shells once they deel connected and trusted with the carer . in saying that i could totally relate to DJ when she stood up for her family no one messes with my children either. im looking forward to reading cheifs and trinity story next. i like how both books blend from one to the next and as each book goes on all questions are answered from the previous book.
I enjoyed the characters and family of this MC group. It was nice reading a MC book knowing they weren't a reformed 1% group but a club living by rules (somewhat ;). While I enjoy all types of MC genre I have been seeing so many of that type this was a refreshing outlook.
Completely enjoyed DJ's feisty nature and Hatchet's teddy bear true colors. I could tell this was part of a series and not truly a stand alone, although it can definitely be read, you just have to guess somewhat and pay attention to past references to catch up.
This would have been a 5 star for me but for a few quirks that are my own personal pet peeves. I don't think ALL 5-6yr olds have the same poor grammar and constant pet names aka lover are just those quirks that take a bit of the enjoyment from the story for me. Once in a while is fine, just not picking up steam and used with such frequency.
The way that this series flows, you NEED to read them in order. Hatchet starts after the happenings in Braxton. As such, we actually don't get the juicy bits of when Hatch and DJ start their relationship, we get them after all that, right before they start to live together. This may be moving fast for DJ, but nothing has ever felt so right. Hatch has shown her what love is with his every action and how he is with Ralynn. But can their brand new relationship survive when all sorts of outside forces keep popping up?
This was a bit better than book one. Loads of action happening in this story, some things that happened seemed out of character for DJ but that's just my feelings. There is so much going on in this story, that this series is turning out more soap opera style than I would like. On the plus side, I did figure it out: Chef and Chief are two people; and I chuckled a few times while reading this. I give this 3.5 stars.
I just adore this couple and their adorable daughter Ralynn. The things that come out of the mouths of babes can be true in any of these stories so far. I love how it was finally realized that Hatch had a daughter from his ex, but sad with what Maysen endured. Both Hatch and DJ were both eager to get his daughter into their home as soon as possible and what an amazing social worker that Trinity is and lots of people could learn from her compassion towards her foster children. I was also very glad when Talon called Hatch so him and his brother Jasper were removed from this piece of crap foster family and that he and DJ are going to adopt them as well. What a crazy person that Starla turned out to be and not really showing any remorse for hitting children with her rental that Caraleigh's ex in laws paid her to do this and very glad to know that they will all spend many years behind bars. Happy reading.
I enjoyed this book! I would definitely recommend reading Braxton’s book first if you have not done so already. It is a continuation from that story, although I don’t think it’s 100% necessary if you want to read Hatchet’s book first.
Hatchet and DJ are already interested in each other and involved at the beginning of this story. DJ has a young daughter that is taken with Hatch. I found their relationship adorable and loved that he already felt like Ralynn was his daughter.
There are a lot of life changes for DJ and Hatch that happen very quickly in this story. I felt like it was a lot for them to take on and the way they handled it may have been a bit unbelievable, but also very endearing. Like the last book, this story ends while leading you directly into Chiefs love story which made me want to pick the next book up!
These two warmed my heart and made it smile. I seriously loved this one. The love they have for one another and the love they offer the kiddos is a beautiful thing. This series offers you a MC way of life with a little angst, intrigue, hot I mean really hot sex scenes, love all of the POV's especially the children. The conversations with the children melts my heart and makes me laugh. Loved the nail salon scenes I was busting laughing out loud and getting the look from hubby.... Cannot wait for Trinity and Chief's story. Thanks for keeping myself so entertained with your words and world you have created. Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
read these first five books back to back and thoroughly enjoyed them all. they are basically feel good novels about romance and family. the women and men are strong of character with high morals and they have chosen the mc lifestyle to allow them to live with the close family ties they have forged rather than those that they were born to. very little angst, just enough to give the stories some backbone. although there are super hot sex scenes there are also plenty of tender moments especially with the children, many of whom come to them through tragic circumstances. great writing style and great stories. def looking forward to more
