When Lucy Little, who lives inside the walls of the Bigg family house, wants a friend her own age, she secretly places a letter among the gifts at Henry Bigg's birthday party, and it is up to her brother Tom to get it back.
I love the illustration of the Littles making orange juice. Although how they sliced the orange in half and lifted the halve into their homemade juicer is a mystery.
This story was short and didn't have much to it. It was about the Littles and how one wanted to make a new friend so she wrote a letter to the Big for his birthday. Can her brother/friend get the letter back before they find out they live in their walls?
