I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the second read in this series.
With a theme of forgiveness resounding through decades, we see how hurt people go through their daily lives, and wonder if they will be able to find the peace that God offers?
A priceless bible from an unknown great grandfather given to her with the knowledge that she will know when to pass it on. Can you imagine holding this book in your hands and reading his remarks and the verses he underlined, what a treasure.

Who I Am With You is a charming and touching story of forgiveness and recovering from great loss. It’s about love and family and commitment and finding a beautiful connection with someone. Thoroughly enjoyable, it’s guaranteed to bring a tender smile to your face.

It has only been a few months since the tragic death of her daughter and husband, but Jessica’s family was falling apart long before that fateful car accident. Now a few months pregnant, Jessica has isolated herself from her friends, ru

I really enjoyed getting to know Ridley and Jessica in this book. I especially liked the strong theme of forgiveness throughout this book. And while I'm not a fan of time slip novels, I enjoyed the contemporary part of this one enough to make up for it.

There is a lot of grief in this book. I felt especially for Jessica in this story because she'd lost so much and was grieving both in a physical loss, but also an emotional loss as well. I was really thrilled when she was able to start getting her

"And I'm still pretending we were happy at the end."

Isolating herself from family and friends after the untimely deaths of her husband and daughter, Hope Springs, Idaho artist Jessica Mason continues to grieve a past that wasn't as idyllic as it appeared to be. Now expecting the birth of her second child, and anticipating being a single mother, Jessica is surprised to find that the empty property next door has a new inhabitant; a man, who like herself, is seeking isolation.

What a beautiful, heartfelt book!
I always enjoy Hatcher's books, because she has a way of creating characters that are both realistic and relatable, but also can teach subtle lessons about life and overcoming obstacles.
Jessica and Riley have trials in their backgrounds and their present lives, and the melding of these storylines with those of Jessica's great-great grandfather Andrew and his life during the Great Depression make for a richer and more meaningful evaluation of those trials.

Jessica Mason's world was turned upside down in the span of a few weeks. First her husband told her he wanted a divorce, then he and their 6-year-old daughter died in a car accident. A positive pregnancy test only complicated matters. She never had a chance to tell anyone about her husband's unfaithfulness, and now it's a burden that grows heavier with each month that passes.

Trying to escape a political scandal for which he took the blame, Ridley Chesterfield finds himself nearly off the grid i

I loved this book from the first chapter. Hatcher can tell a love story that leaves you wanting more. I hated to see this one come to an end.

Jessica and Ridley's story is not to be missed and the forgiveness in this book was so refreshing. I was so excited to meet Hope too.

I cant wait for her next book next summer.

4 stars and I recommend it.

What an inspirational story! I love the way the author used the tough subject of adultery and weave a beautiful story of forgiveness and hope. I feel this story can be used to minister to so many who are affected by such a betrayal. This book is a dual time line and I enjoyed both stories in each. The characters are lovable and the book was so easy to read. I really do love Hatcher's writing style. I look forward to the next book in the series.
I give this book 4.5 stars.

Who I Am with You by Robin Lee Hatcher is spectacular. I picked it up to read a few chapters and found myself staying up all night long until I finished it. Yes, it is that good! The characters are endearing, well rounded, and believable. I easily became invested in their stories. My imagination kicked in and I felt like I was there in Idaho.

This is a contemporary Christian romance that has a bit of mystery throughout and a parallel story from the 1930’s. It has humor, life lessons, a sweet roma

'Some lessons a person had to learn for themselves and not from hearing the experiences of others.'

Jessica Mason is still suffering from the totally unexpected death of her husband and young daughter and now, a pregnant widow, who is also suffering from her husband's betrayal, she is trying to come to terms with the pain of the life she must now lead. Ridley Chesterfield has come to Hope Springs to get away from a political scandal and just wants to heal. He trusts God to get him through this. J

I received a free copy of this book for review. Opinions shared are mine.

This is a dual-timeline book with connections that don't appear all at once.  I found myself really looking forward to the Andrew Henning events.  Without giving away spoilers, I just didn't like the Jessica/Ridley story that much.

Andrew's depression-era situation was more authentic and realistic compared to the modern setting.  Andrew was really a stand-up guy who wasn't afraid of hard work and facing difficult challenges.

I absolutely LOVED Who I Am With You! Hatcher really tugs on the heartstrings with Jessica's story. It's so easy to see why she's bitter and heartbroken, and I love the it of mystery that she writes into the story. Jessica's story isn't revealed all at once, and I enjoyed trying to put together pieces before Hatcher assembled them.

Ridley was a fun character. While Jessica was deep and had a dark history, Ridley's issues felt simpler to deal with, even though betrayal is always hard. I liked the

Who I Am With You is a unique, touching story of forgiveness. I loved how Jessica and Ridley realized they had to forgive others before they could build a relationship. Robin Lee Hatcher shared with her readers how Jessica's great grandfather also had to give forgiveness and build a new relationship with God and with his wife. This book has two separate stories going on - one in the 1930s and one modern day. I recommend Who I Am With You to others. I received a complimentary copy of this book fr ...more

I thought this book was reminiscent of Nicholas Sparks book The Longest Ride. It has the two stories at once that span time and this one there is a connection between the two time periods that was absent in Sparks book. I did love both stories and thought the majority of the book was well written, however a few things were left to question. What happened to the family of the house that Ridley purchased? What happen to Kris? The last time she is mentioned is when Selene v

Robin Hatcher is one of my favorite authors, and I've read all of her books, so I knew this book would be a great read. I love how she includes such a strong faith message in her stories, and the inclusion of a great-grandfather's Bible provided even more opportunities. The use of a story within a story is a craft that she does well. The similarities between the stories from the past and present showed how Jessica's great-grandfather relied on his faith to bring him through a dark time in his li ...more

Hope springs; "a place where they could find peace in the midst of the storm". An Idaho town where hope spills forth, love blossoms, and faith comes alive. A tender and heartwarming story that places you mountainside in Idaho, where as a reader you can visualize the mountainous splendor of leaves in glorious array, while feeling the sunlight beaming down spreading warmth from the pages right through the darkest corners in Jessica's and Ridley's lives. I don't read many books that are just romance, but I have always enjoyed Robin Lee Hatcher's books. When I got an invitation to review the book, I jumped on it. I'll say up front I am not a big fan of a book where there are two stories going on - one modern day, and one in the past. I tend to enjoy the modern day one more, and when I read the one in the past, anticipate going back to the modern day one.

That said, I really did enjoy the whole book. Yes, I enjoyed the modern day parts most...and

What a heartwarming romantic story Ms. Hatcher has given us. It is about, love, lose, regrets, faith and second chances. Our hero, Ridley and heroine, Jessica, have both suffered from recent tragedies. They are secluding themselves from friends, family and society. Jessica has a home business and is working hard at creating one of a kind Christian wall hangings. Ridley has just moved in next door for the summer and has plans to work on his mother and stepfather's house. There is also a precious ...more

Who I Am With You by Robin Lee Hatcher is a beautiful story. I love that it’s the first in a series and I will get to spend much more time with these characters than just one book. When I first found out the story was going to go back and forth between two different time periods and two different sets of characters (intertwined through their family tree), I thought I would read quickly through the older time period and focus more on the modern storyline. Who I Am With You is the first book in A Legacy of Faith Novel series by Robin Lee Hatcher. I was so incredibly delighted with this book! I’ve been reading Robin Lee Hatcher since before I knew Christian Romance was a genre, but I was truly touched by this story that begins when a Bible is passed down to Jessica that once belonged to her great grandfather.

While Jessica is holding onto pain & a secret betrayal after the death of her husband and daughter, Ridley is trying to escape from his own as personal nightmare. Yet somehow their faith turns their hurts into a beautiful gift th

This book was soooo good! It touched me in a way that was near to my heart. First, I am a genealogist and trace family ancestries as a part of my occupation. I also have "Hennings" in my family tree as did Jessica in the story and I am German, as were her ancestors listed in the Bible that she was given. Family has a way of drawing us together.

I loved the goodness of the characters, their care and concern for others. I loved their trust in each other, although life's events on both their parts,

When I began reading this book I didn't realize that it was modern day about Jessica Morgan to past day of her grandfather from the 1930's so at first I was slightly confused. But once I realized the "time gap" the story fell into place and made sense.
This story is a real tear jerker. I cried and cried and I have a wonderful marriage so I didn't relate to Jessica I was just so sad for her. And, maybe, because I know women who have been or are in her place.

Robin Lee Hatcher has a way of weaving together the stories of love that leave you wanting to know what happens next. In Who I Am with You, we get the stories of both Jessica and her Great-Grandparents.

I really enjoyed both stories but the redemption story of the great-grandparents was heartbreaking and heartwarming. The more modern second chances story of Jessica and Ridley was also really special. I can't wait for the next book!
