This is going to be short and sweet, I don't want to give anything away!

Oh my I love the suspense and the romance in this one.

I read it in one sitting I had to find out about the girls. I have now deemed Coble Queen of Christian Suspense.

I stayed plastered to the book until the very end.

You have to read Lance and Bailey's story and tell me what you think!

I gave this book 4.5 stars. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Satisfying conclusion to the Lavendar Tides Series. I loved the connection between the main characters in each of the novels.

I have enjoyed the Lavender Tides series, but have to say that Secrets at Cedar Cabin is definitely my favorite book of the series! I highly recommend reading the books in order. There is an ongoing mystery and situation that does not get resolved until this book and its conclusion will be more meaningful and understandable if you have read The View from Rainshadow Bay and The House at Saltwater Point. There is also a novella in the series, but I have not read it and did not have any trouble fol ...more

Now this book in the series I would give 4 1/2 stars. They didn't have a huge character base. I knew exactly what was going on throughout the book. The ending was really exciting and I had no idea how would end or where they were going. The 2 main characters were wonderful. They shown their love right away, which I don 't like but it was written that it was exciting to see how they would get together!! Another great series by Colleen Coble. I am running out of her series. She's a great who done ...more

I read one of Colleen Coble’s romantic suspense novels back in August 2018. It was the second book in the Lavender Tides series and I thought it was a really fun read and was eager to read more about this Pacific Northwestern coastal town.

Being from Oregon and loving the Oregon coast, is what initially drew me to this author. I love when places that I know and love are featured in books. Even though Lavender Tides is a fictional city, the descriptions of this little town are vivid and could easi

With the third full-length novel to the intriguing series, the author untangles the web of lies, crimes, secrets, and consequences of choices made, delivering a story that allured the mind, and was difficult put down until the destiny of the cast of characters were revealed.
With several subplots going on simultaneously, and all the characters, from the heroes to the culprits, getting their chance to tell their side of the story, it took an effort to keep all the lines untwined. As some of the p

An exciting new installment in the Lavender Tides series! This latest book ties up a few loose ends, and fills in the story of Shauna's missing siblings begun in book one. Plenty of action, some suspenseful moments and romance made this a fast paced read for me. It would be best to read the series in order, but I could follow the story with the little bits of recap inserted throughout.

From beginning to end, Coble's conclusion to the Lavender Tides series kept me riveted and riding the action-packed suspense. I loved that all the characters from previous books appeared in this book, and many of the loose story plots were brought to wonderful conclusions. The addition of Lily as a secondary character was so sweet as we see an elderly lady who is suffering dementia and has both clear and cloudy days. The topic of sex trafficking was very timely as it has pervaded the US in citie ...more

Some elements were a little hard to buy, but the story moved along at a good pace. Easy read.
This was a pretty perfect finale to the Lavender Tides series and easily my favorite suspense book by Colleen(and I have read a significant chunk of her suspense novels). It pulled me in from the first page and it didn’t let go during the entire book. The villain surprised me(and that is HARD to do usually) and there were a few more twists thrown in along the way. The story was superb and the ending was an exciting finale with a bitter snowstorm that made for en exciting element to battle along ...more
Secrets at Cedar Cabin has the qualities that make a Colleen Coble an exciting, edge of seat suspenseful read. It continues the story that is started in The View from Rainshadow Bay and then carried on in The House at Saltwater Point. Three children were separated from each other when an earthquake hit their town of Lavender Tides, Washington while they were at the grocery store with their mom. The earthquake sent their mom into labor and a paramedic named Olivia Fleming delivered the baby girl ...more

Once again Colleen Coble delivers an action packed and touching story. She also tackles a story that is impacting thousands of families today, human trafficking.

In the opening pages we meet Bailey Fleming. She is dealing with the fact her new husband is already married. As he “buys” her off with the deed to a house in Washington state, she learns that her mother has been murder. The trouble really starts when someone starts shooting at her and she has to take off to save her life.

This is the third and final book in the Lavender Tides series. Because the series is so good, I highly recommend that you start with the first one, even though it works well as standalone.

I’ve enjoyed every moment of getting to know the characters in this series. The author, Colleen Coble, did a wonderful job of capturing the little details that brought each character to life. There was plenty of suspense that kept me glued to the pages, and I anticipated each new book. I loved how the lies fro

Wow! She does it again! Ms. Coble’s latest series has been fantastic and I have thoroughly enjoyed reading each book. This is a book that I did not want to put down and read straight through! This book focuses on Bailey. Bailey has had some tough situations recently in her life and was betrayed by her husband. Then, her mom is murdered. To her discovery, there were a lot of things that she did not know about her mom and herself. She goes on the run to get away from all of the trouble, but also t ...more

Whoa -- my head is still spinning after listening to this one! (I borrowed the audible version from my library.) You have to stay alert for this heart-stopping romantic suspense. The plot is so twisty-turny and there are so many nuances to the suspense. I about jumped out of my skin a time or two. And screamed myself hoarse -- in terror, with warnings, or just in plain frustration. Friendly listener tip -- if you scream too loudly while listening to an audio book you tend to miss some important ...more

Public library copy. Another fast-paced suspense-filled book in the Lavender Tides series. The only comment I have is that the trafficking element takes up a good portion of the story, and while I realize this is necessary to the story, and it is not horrific in the telling, it does take up a lot of the reader's attention.

Here's why that bothers me: I like books to be balanced. There's plenty of evil in the world, but the writer has the authority to balance what the reader reads by developing s

The third installment of the Lavender Tides series brings the whole family together with the most excitement and best storyline yet!

Bailey Fleming is at a loss after her mother is murdered and she finds out the man she married has been lying to her from the beginning. When her mother’s murderers come after her, Bailey flees to a remote cabin in Lavender Tides. Once she arrives, she finds out more of her life has been a lie than she knew. In the third and final Lavender Tides novel, Colleen Coble brings a missing person back to town. Of course, she doesn’t realize she’s missing. I admit, I was skeptical at first about the odds of this particular person ending up in the small town where people happen to be looking for her, but Coble manages to tie all of the connections together as the story progresses.

There’s a ton happening in Secrets at Cedar Cabin—missing persons, Bailey’s connection to the residents, dead bodies, and

Bailey's life has been turned upside down since the murder of her mother. One of the biggest changes has been fleeing from Rock Harbor, MI to Lavender Tides, WA. Once there she meets Lance, an FBI agent hunting for the human trafficking ring that abducted his sister five years ago. Through wonderful mastery, Coble has written an edge of your seat thriller with plenty of romance.

Secrets at Cedar Cabin by Colleen Coble is be third book in the Lavender Tides series. I have read the other two books in the series and while they were all fabulous reads, this book is the best yet! Bailey’s story is so complicated due to its circumstances and due to emotionally charged situations. Lance, the FBI agent helping her is facing just as many personal dilemmas. The action and conflict never end in this novel. It starts out grabbing your attention and never lets go. The novel is extre ...more

It didn't take me long to become involved in Bailey and Lance's storylines. Each character had something they were fighting, and Coble is a master at bringing two characters together in a an unusual way, although their two worlds come to a head later on in the story. I do need to disclose - there are topics in this book touched upon (nothing in great detail) that may upset some people, involving trafficking. However Coble does it delicately, and not once did I feel like I had to put the book dow ...more

This third novel in Coble's 'Lavender Tides' series is so good! She picks up on a thread in the first two books and continues it here. Bailey Fleming finds herself running for her life after very suspicious circumstances descend on her life. She goes to a cabin whose deed she's been given, not knowing a thing about the area. Bodies are discovered there soon afterwar ...more

Secrets at Cedar Creek

A Lavender Tides Novel #3

By Colleen Coble

Her marriage was a sham and her "husband" wants her to keep the truth of it secret. What neither of them realized was that his attempt to keep her quiet could be the very thing saves her life. Bailey Flemming has never lived in any one place for long - her mother was always moving them from one place to another. In this newest addition to the Lavender Tides series we find another mystery that needs to be solved. Well, maybe not so much a mystery as a crime that needs to be solved. Bailey Fleming needs to flee her current situation and find a safe haven to hide. She lands in Lavender Tides. Here she will discover that hiding is not the easiest thing to do, especially when three different sets of people are searching for her or keeping an eye on her.

Enter the FBI when the place where Bailey is hiding turn
I started to read this book, then realized I really needed to read the preceding books in the series. It might be able to stand alone, but there are some complicated relationships that are developed in the first two books in the series. This book, the third in the series, was my favorite of the three. It included a topic that has recently been in the news lately, sex trafficking. The suspense in the book kept me reading into the wee hours of the morning.

There is plenty of suspense infused with a touch of romance in this final book in the Lavender Tides trilogy. After her mother’s murder, Bailey discovers that her mother had concealed secrets about their lives, and now she fears for her own safety. Little by little, Bailey’s discoveries bring her closer to the truth, and as the pieces fall in place, they reveal a picture of a criminal capable of immense cruelty. The author does a fine job of bringing the trilogy to a satisfying conclusion and ty ...more
