I love to get a new devotional for the beginning of a new year. So, this year I picked this devotional.
There is {literally} a devotional page for each day of the year.
Each devotional is well thought out with a nice subtitle in the right hand corner, the month and day in the left hand corner, the scripture for the day is at the top middle and then the devotional.
I like the way that the devotional is written in story form. It's not long but long enough to get the thought across. And then there is a prayer at the bottom.
It's a nice way to begin a day.
This can add to one's daily Bible reading or it is a nice gift for someone who needs an uplifting thought.
And this beautiful hard back book is small but not tiny so it fits into a bag to take along.

This is such a perfect book to have as we get ready to embark on a new year. This book is sure to help focus and enrich the relationships in your life. Filled with sage wisdom in a short concise format this is a great reminder to love well, something that so many of us fail to do. I love how this really focuses on how much God loves us and how we need to be spreading that love to those around us.

Well written and utterly engaging this book is such a gorgeous book that would make a fabulous gift or is the perfect addition to anyone's personal library.

These devotionals are some of my favorite books! I choose a new one to personally go through each year, and also gift them to friends and family. There is a short (paragraph or two) devotion for each day, as well as scripture and a prayer focus. The devotions are seasonally appropriate as well, so they are tailored to your current needs. It's a small book, about 5" long, and beautifully-hardbound with a ribbon bookmark. For someone who needs an uplifting thought, it's a great gift. Personally, I like to keep this book in a place where I'll reach for it and have a free moment everyday...
