“Sunflower Sal” by Janet S. Anderson and illustrated by Elizabeth Johns is a wonderful book about self discovery. While this is a children’s book, I believe this book is a great read for anyone of any age who is trying to figure out who and what they are. This is a book for all ages and all people. This book is just fantastic. The girl creates a beautiful pattern at the end, it is something that Pre-K and Kindergarten students would love to see while working on identifying patterns.
