This is the second book of the “Four Fathers “ series. I wish I could say I am loving this series but so far I’m just finding it ok! There are four stories in this series, and each story is written by a different author... and is a different genre. Book #1 is Contemporary Romance...and #2 is Erotic romance.
In this instalment we meet a major alpha-jerk named Levi Kingston...and let me tell you, he is an asshole! He may be super hot; but he is a bastard who treats women like sex objects. When he hires his smokin hot assistant, he decides he has got to have her. He wants to use her hard many times, so he strikes up a deal that she can’t refuse!
This story I found that there was not enough emotional content. It was full of sex with very little story line to it. Forewarning, there is also a bit of sharing that goes on with the heroine.
The next book is a “Taboo Romance “ and is about Eric who is not a very nice guy in my opinion! I will check it out though and hope it gets better!!!

I didn't like this one. It had nothing to do with the writing (which was good). It had nothing to do with the sharing (I love me some menage). I simply HATED Kingston and I LOATHED Pearson. Now I don't mind a good alphahole, but these guys were SO past redeemable in my eyes. Just the way they spoke about barely legal girls was disgusting at best. And these guys are raising SONS...good god (lol). So yea, this was my first, last, and the only book I am going to read from this series.

“Thank you. However, if you would like to give me a title, it will be Sir,” I offer, and her eyes dart to mine in shock. Her mouth gapes, then closes a second later.
Father number two was just an okay read.
Not really bad. The story was well written.
Not really good. It tried to be shocking, but not very successfully.
The behaviour of the guy -the ruthless boss- was ambiguous (I am trying to be gentle in my descriptions).
The behaviour of the woman -the hardworking secretary- was unintelligent (I am really trying to be gentle in my descriptions).
If you look just for hot scenes between an arroragant bastard and a doormat and you are not particularly interested in believable romance, then you can try this book.

Please consider other reviews if you’re considering purchase. There is an aspect of this book that is a hard limit for me. I did not know the book contained the limit. As this is my first experience with this author, I didn’t know what to expect.

There are a couple of scenes that turned me off. If I take those scenes out of the equation, I would consider this story a very erotic journey between the two MCs. I could probably believe what they feel for each other is real. I do believe there are authentic feeling between the two MCs. I’m not implying cheating. It’s not that so calm your britches! Read the story. It may not be an issue for you. I am not implying or stating this story is bad. I AM NOT saying that at all. I’m simply stating the story is not for me. I chose to read the story as it’s part of a quad and it would have driven me bat sh*t crazy if I didn’t know Levi’s story!

I liked this one because it was low on angst and high on smut and kink. I usually don’t go for the no-stings attached temporary paid relationship, but it worked for me on this one.

Well this was completely unexpected. It's been a long time (or it seems to me) since i've read a novel written by Dani Rene, which was Ace of Harts - which i'm not 100% sure, but may have been her first published novel. Kingston was very different from that first novel i've read of hers, and it showed how she's improved her craft since, which really does show why she's become an author to look out for when it comes to BDSM and erotic romances.
While i may not have given this novella a 5 star, it's still a book that you need to read. That you really should dive in because it's quite interesting and not what i was expecting. Why didn't i personally give it a 5 star review albeit my really liking this story? Well, the fact that i received it as an ARC may have a small impact, and i'm hoping that it was modified in the last stages of the editing - Trevor (the main character in Blackstone by J.D. Hollyfield) was referred to as Travis for at least half of the book and for a long while, i thought i was in the wrong and i kept trying to remember who was who as i read, and that did bother me. For all his 'bragging' at being a kinky man and heavily into BDSM, Levi felt as though he was just the kinky type rather than the BDSM type.
Hold up! No pitch forks please!!! Levi was nothing like Trevor or Eric (Blackstone and Pearson); he was a different kind of man and i'm not sure that anyone else other than this author could have effectively brought his story to life as well as she did. As i did with all the other books in this series (mind you, i read them all in order, starting with Blackstone, Kingston and then Pearson), i read this book in less than 2 hours because i was sucked in completely even with the small hickups.
As part of the Four Father series, it was an amazing book and i honestly look forward to reading more from this author in the future and getting my hands on her full length novel as well.

I liked the first one better. Since all of them are novellas I’ll probably end up reading all of them eventually but I hope the third and fourth ones are better than this story.

Kristyn is a strong confident woman that does what she needs to do to help the ones she loves. Levi is a man that is a flat out A-Hole, he knows what he wants and makes sure to get it every time. This is one book in the Four Fathers Series, we get a taste of each of the men and their personalities and I can’t wait to hear all their stories but I gotta say I have fallen for Kingston pretty damn hard. The lengths I would go to work in this office and just have a day with Levi, granted that wouldn’t be close to enough but this man knows exactly what he’s doing. Who wouldn’t want a strong dominating alpha with a big heart?. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Oh dear, this was one of the cringiest books I have read in such a long time. And talk about cliche, the heroine is a twenty-one year old stripper who is a virgin and never even had a sip of alcohol, but manages to be a sex icon. And *gasp* she runs into her super sexy older CEO boss at the strip club, and he's hellbent on taking her for himself, so casually offers her 21k and makes her his own little sexpot.
Blah. One of the worst books I've read in a long time.

Four awesome authors got together and wrote a four book series of interrelated characters with each book being in a different subgenre.
Although these four books don't have to be read in order, and each can totally standalone, it will be most rewarding to read each of the books to get the full experience and full picture of all characters involved.
Kingston is book two in the Four Fathers series. This book is about Levi Kingston. Levi hired a sexy assistant named Kristyn Marshall and this is their erotic story. Kingston is an erotic, boss/employee/work romance.
This book was good but it didn't really come together for me the way I would have liked. I really like to connect with the main characters and get really engrossed in their lives and stories but unfortunately that didn't happen. It was a scene between Kristyn and her dad that actually gave me the only feels that I had during this book. Kingston was still entertaining though so I am giving the book 3 stars.
Kingston is the first book that I have read by this author. I will read another book by her in the future.

Kingston was all kinds of dirty, smexy goodness with a good dose of heart mixed in that had me devouring the entire story in no time flat!
Levi is all kinds of large and in charge Alpha AF male. He takes what he wants, when he wants and because he can read people so well, he tends to get away with it more often than not. But despite his arrogance, which is well deserved, he isn’t a complete asshole ~ regardless of everything.
Kristyn was an interesting one. For all intents and purposes she is hard working, dedicated and the good daughter. I loved how she could be all kinds of shy and a little insecure one second and then turn strong and sassy in the next.
The start to Levi and Kristyn’s journey, their true start, was definitely interesting ~ and HOT ~ OMG HOT! And as they find that they are a perfect match when it comes to the physical aspect of their...relationship, they start to realize that there is more going on than either expected. I loved these two together, they simply fit each other and I love how everything worked out for them.
This is my first read by the author and it won’t be my last. The writing was engaging, the pacing was good, I enjoyed the dual 1st person POV and I really enjoyed that she kept the angst to a minimum. This book can be read as a standalone, but I have no doubt that you’ll be wanting to read the others before finishing this one!

Levi’s book was pretty steamy and he definitely tried to make Kristyn submit to him. Kristyn is a pretty strong, young heroine with a lot of responsibility on her plate. Neither person is looking for love but for some reason she speaks to Levi’s protective and possessive side. The sex scenes were mega hot and things quickly progress in this novella. I’m very curious about the last two partners in the Four Fathers since we get some glimpses at their personalities. Poor Eric hasn’t been shown in the best of light. Mostly we see even though these successful, sexy men have lots of hookups, their home lives are a bit more complicated with their relationships with their children. I guess we will find out more with Pearson’s book.

This series is a no for me. The men are assholes, but not the sexy, alpha asshole you love to hate. Instead, we get the asshole you want to kick in the nuts.

In between 2-3 stars rating yo. I'm conflicted with this book because of some issues.
As one of The Four Fathers owner, Levi Kingston (40-ish) totally a jerk. He fucks anything with skirt but in lust with his secretary. Kristyn (21) desperate for money and working as a stripper at night. However, Levi found her and offer to exchange her companionship (also stop her work at the strip club). At first, Kristyn declined her offer but Levi "blackmailed" her.
Levi is a kinky jerk but not in BDSM way for me. He earns the label "Sir" just because Kristyn is too horny for him. I found zero respect for him. I think what they did is only for sex. Even Levi pushed Kristyn to have kinda threesome in a way. Well, damn. Kristyn is clearly a doormat because she's in too deep with Levi since the first time.
A virgin. Jerky boss. Awesome sex. Commitment issues. What happened between them is a total blur. Couldn't remember shit beside their sex. The ending is a bit cliche. Overall, just an okay read for entertainment.

Kristyn was sort of a quintessential dirty virgin (is that a thing?) and her resistance to Levi was futile. They were good together, having a bit of sexy office fun. And I will say the brief interactions with Eric Pearson were pretty great, I'm definitely excited for his installment.

It's a good read if you treat h like one of the side chicks H usually sleeps with before finding 'true love' with a nice heroine. Everything was skin deep and thus I am glad to not see an epilogue with kids afterwards. I love those so if I don't want to see one with this book's MCs should tell you about the connection between these two.

Well wasn't this a make you hot under the collar little read! It made me blush on more than one occasion. Levi Kingston is an Alpha through and through. When he wants something he claims it with an almighty roar that would make anyone else in the vicinity shy away. Levi is single father to an 18 year old son but not through choice, it's a situation that was heartbreaking. Levi didn't ever think he could fall for another woman again but then came Krystyn with not just intelligence but her alluring looks and ways that would entice any man to want to keep and love her.
This is a novella sized book that is extremely hot and will have you panting in more ways than one for more of these characters. It has a little of everything I love in a book and it kept me invested the whole way through. This is the first book I have read by Dani Rene and I will now be looking for more of her books to devour.

Oh wow, Levi.... I think I'm a little bit in love with Levi. He's a bit of an a$$hole but I love that about him. He knows it and he owns it. Kristyn, is actually the assistant of all four of the partners, but Levi "claims" her as his because he's the one that hired her, and well.... He's that kind of possessive. When he sees Kristyn at a second job his possessiveness goes through the roof so he makes her a deal.
Kristyn working for Levi is hard enough with her attraction to him, but she needs the job to take care of her dad. So when he sees her at her second job and goes caveman, she's worried that he's going to fire her, until he make her an offer she should refuse. This is Levi though, he always gets what he wants, and what he wants now, is Kristyn.
Above I said I was in love with Levi, but I think I'm a bit in love with them both (yep went there.) Levi, because he is who he is. Kristyn, because she's her own kind of sass. She doesn't let him push her around when it could so easily happen with a lot of other women. She has enough spunk to stand up to him when needed, but he's the kind of dominate that can control that as well. They're a prefect fit despite the age difference. They're a perfect fit. I received this book as an arc for an honest review and this is me honest.
P.S. I hope Levi's son Ethan has a book of his own in the future cause I kinda love him too. He's just like his dad. Epic!!

Holly, HOTNESS! This book was majorly panty dropping hot. I literally read this book nonstop. I couldn't put this down. Dani Rene is a new author for me. WOW, what an introduction to her with this book. I loved her writing style, her story line, everything!! I seriously need more of her books.

Pretty good for what it was. Very short so all the chemistry had to be put into not many pages. Mostly sexy times which were written very well. This is an interconnecting series of authors, I chose this one to read because I've read and liked the author's style before. Not sure if I'll read the others yet.

After reading Blackstone, I couldn’t wait to read Kingston, and holy Hotness, it didn’t disappoint. Levi Kingston is an investor in Four Father’s Freight and has a bit of a kinky side. Krystin is his assistant and while he lusts after her, he knows he can’t or shouldn’t act on it. Until one night they meet in a rather unusual circumstance and he decides that maybe now is the time. But does he follow thru? Will she allow it? These characters just jump off the page at you. Their chemistry is undeniable and hot! I really enjoyed this Novella and am eagerly anticipating the next two in this series! And after reading this, I will be sure to read more by this author!
