This title is an incredibly helpful, informative, well organized statement on the requirements for running a well organized educational technology department.

I hesitated to give it five stars for the simplest of reasons: it was written in 2015, yet Mike said an educational technology leader should be wearing a suit and tie to work every day. That’s at the end of chapter 7. Unfortunately, a statement like that reveals much about a 21st-century outlook. I will be writing Mike and asking him if I could possibly be the first person to notice this, 10 years after publication?!

Overall, the author is incredibly generous with his resources and time when discussing educational technology on a nationwide level, and should be recognized for that. The book is a contribution on this plane.
