The Slow Lane is the second book in the Grayson Falls series by A.M. Mahler. I really enjoyed this book which is Ryan's story. He is reunited with his childhood crush, Sophie. He also gets to meet more of the siblings he never knew he had while being stalked and threatened as he investigates a murder.
This series is best read in order due to continuing storylines from the first book. I loved the first book and it is still my favorite. The relationships building between the characters are great and I am fully invested in this series and seeing each character get a happy ever after.
This book is an easy read. I enjoyed the first book in this series and I think this one is better. The characters are likable and I’m enjoying seeing where things take them. Some plot lines are a little predictable but there was enough mystery and action to round out the romance story. There were many moments where I couldn’t put the book down. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
