now that this is FINALLY announced I can write a little thing about it:

i love this book more than life itself, lets be real. I've never read a book like it.

Searing with heart and filled to the brim with humor, Camryn Garrett's debut is a needed addition to the YA canon and is absolutely unputdownable, unforgettable, and so incredibly special.

full disclosure: i came up with the title for this book. you seriously won't want to miss it.

The author had an interview on her website explaining how she got the idea for this book. During the interview she mentioned that HIV was no different than asthma or diabete and that she wanted her character to explore her sexuality to full potential. I suppose that the author is not yet out of her teens. Nonetheless, this is seriously concerning.

Really enjoyed the way the author tackled the issues around being in high school and being HIV positive. It was really well done and I walked away knowing a lot more than I did. My only complaint was that some of the personal plot lines weren't as fully developed as I would have liked.
