*Now a complete series!* The dragon within Evangeline mourns, but her wolf has one thing in mind … revenge. When the Sovereign caught wind of there being a forbidden hybrid living in Seaton Falls, he came to collect her. What he didn’t know was that Liam, her warrior, was more than willing to sacrifice himself for the only girl he’s ever loved. But saving her meant losing a part of himself, his true form—his dragon. This transformation has compromised his mission to protect his soulmate and future queen, and time is no longer on their side. It hasn’t been long since Evangeline accepted her abilities, but she must quickly learn to rely on her own strength if she’s ever going to fix this. Her survival, and Liam’s restoration, depend on it. The foundation of Seaton Falls has been shaken and a new day is on the horizon. An influx of outside shifters preparing to wage war, and the arrival of a few highly-anticipated guests, are only the beginning. Maybe the odds have finally shifted in the clan’s favor. Or … maybe they’ve just been set up for an even harder fall. “Amazing and beautiful!“ ★★★★★ -Amazon Review “It is fantasy, and jam-packed full of adventure and dragons and werewolves...but at its heart, it's a love story. After the Sovereign learns of the special hybrid living in Seaton Falls, he and his minions set out to end Evangeline’s threat to his power for good. But neither the Sovereign nor Evangeline count her love and Warrior Liam, who offers to sacrifice himself in her place when she is caught (and she’s caught cause she’s out in the woods. Running. Alone. Sigh).
Evangeline, along with the help of Nick and company, manages to rescue Liam just in time to save his life, but not his wings. The Sovereign, evil to the core, had his witches dose Liam with a potion to transition him to human. But as a human, how can he serve as Evangeline’s Warrior? Can Hilda help reverse his transition? This testosterone filled eye candy of a man isn’t just going to let Evie protect him now that he’s a fragile human.
Now Evangeline’s focus is on avenging Liam. And whatever happened to Elise’s plan to bring back Evangeline’s six brothers from the soul stones she was able to preserve?
So much happens in this book that it’s hard to even say much without spoilers, which I never give. That having been said, this book is action packed from the very first page to the last. There are tons of plot points, and all of them are given attention, including: Liam being spelled to become human, Nick and his Liberator status, Nick and Roz’s relationship, or lack thereof; the Sovereign’s revenge, the six soul stones of Evangeline’s brothers, and updates on the coming war.
My biggest critique of Evie is that so often she has tunnel vision and doesn’t realize the picture is so much bigger than just her immediate feelings. Her rushing headlong into danger has caused more trouble for everyone. Evie’s got 99 problems, but common sense isn’t one of them.
I got the chance to read an early copy of this book and trust me when I say that this book is DEFINITELY gonna be worth reading!! What can I possibly say about this book that won't give away the entire plot? I can sit and talk for hours about this book. This series, really. This book had me on the edge of my seat, nail biting, eyes wide open, heart pounding, and damn near hyperventilating with what was happening!! There are points in this book that ARE going to bring tears to your eyes. You're just not going to be able to hold them in. You're going to be angry, sad, frustrated, happy. You won't be able to control it. I think the author has some sort of magic ability and she weaves the emotions into the story haha. She somehow wraps the depth of the soul-shattering sadness into the pages. While you're reading about the happiness, the elation of her characters, you can't help but be swept up along with them. But when they are broken down and full of desperation, you feel a sort of heaviness settle into your bones. There's so much that happens int his book that I want to go on and on about the action, the mystery, the intrigue, the kinship, everything that happens! But I can't spoil it...there are a lot of HOLY CRAP!!! moments. lol You're gonna love it!! I'm gonna have to come back once the book is released just so I can update my review to say "YEAH!! DID YOU LIKE WHEN THIS HAPPENED?!? WASN'T THAT AWESOME?!?" lol
Ok...my heart is STILL beating a mile a minute!!!Absolutely not a boring book. Evie and company definitely have their hands full. Poor Evie...her DRAGON is still absent while desperately waiting for her love to come out of this coma. All she does is stay by Liams bedside. Both her mum and aunt are beginning to lose hope, but she'll be darned if she loses him. All kinds of action happens in this installment....the long awaited return of her brothers.....Will they remember her, or accept her as she is now? Now that Liam is human how will everything work? Nick starts having odd new symptoms....he keeps hearing an odd buzzing around Evie. No body knows why, and that in and of itself is an issue. The Sovereign definitely hasn't given up, and starts causing havoc..... how can Evie and her family com out on top? Will everyone survive? Things are changing at every turn....they all hardly have time to get used to things when something new occurs. Through it all Evie and Liam discover they're much stronger together than apart....and now, they have something bigger to fight for. If you've not read the previous books, I HIGHLY suggest doing so as you'll be rather confused. Trust me it's well worth it as this series rocks!!! Especially if you like resilient, strong and feisty women willing to do just about anything for those she loves!!
There’s so much suspense building up over Liam waking up and then his dragon being gone..you sorta forget that Nick is a ticking time killer. And then when Liam comes back stronger and more powerful after his second reincarnation you start wondering ... Alright he’s stronger which makes Evangeline stronger through their tether .. So that must mean there’s a reason for this to happen this SECOND lifetime around. Evangeline died in her last life and Liam couldn’t save her, now it’s like the tables have evened and they have a fighting chance to survive. And why must they survive? Because of the heir.!
Holyshit Fans self Puts out the dragons fire Continues to fans self.
I can’t wait to see how it all plays out. Maybe Roz will save Nick? Maybe he can fight this darkness that’s driving him to kill...or maybe with their new found strength Liam and Evangeline will have to put him down to defend their child..
To many maybes..I can’t wait for the next.

this was one absolutely amazing book I don't know where to start there was so much action and toe curling scenes , at least Evie got some closure and some of the issues that happened in the last few books which was geat the last book lift off here Liam was taken by the s o v e r e i g n because Evie took off and he sacrificed himself to save her and they took him his prisoner and Put a Spell on them when they got him back he lost his powers and he was on his deathbed for weeks at a time Evie that desperate and took off trying to find a witch to get his Dragon back there was so much toe curling action in this book such a surprise towards the end you definitely don't want to miss out on this book I'm so excited I can't wait for the next one what a cliffhanger!!!!! I wish I could read the next book right at this very moment Bravo Miss Jones you did it again this is one SIZZLING action packed series
This novel twists your heart and makes you have all the feels for the characters. I loved the story line in this novel so much. There are so many twists and turns. And, the major big reveals to answers I never thought were possible made me enjoy this book even more. Unfortunately, I have to wait till the final novel comes out, because the author just left even more to be answered. Go one click the book, because it is that awesome.
I check to make sure a series is complete before I start reading book one. This one said it was 4 books and all were complete. Now I find at the end of book 4 there is a cliffhanger - which is only tolerable to me if the next book is ready to go. Thats my preference and why I check first to make sure the series is complete. I don't like the deception here. If its 5 books just freaking say so. People who don't mind waiting or assuming the risk that the author will lose interest and not finish it will buy it anyway. People like me who prefer to read the whole series at one will just wait. Why lie? 1 star for the deception.
This is still my favorite PNR saga! I loved this installment and can’t wait for book 5! I will be devastated when this series ends and seriously hope we get some spinoff action here. We got a lot of answers with this book but I still have so many questions and am obsessed with this story!
How many pointless, poorly thought out, plot points can you fit into book series? There are too many in this series to count; however, Nick and Evie's contrived relationship is the worst one, and Evie and Liam's lazily written soulmates storyline isn't far behind.
This book was both boring and predictable. Nick is the most interesting character in the story.
This series is captivating and heartbreaking. The characters are so relatable. I’ve gone from excitement to terror to sadness and more. The only complaint is having to wait to read the next one. Must read this series.
O.M.G. How can you do this too me. So many emotions going on from reading this edge of your seat, nail biting fast paced brilliantly written book. So many amazing characters, some you just love to hate.
Note: I received and arc in exchange for an honest review and this doesn't influence my opinion on it in anyway.
Rachel Jonas is a miracle worker. She has written this incredible book series where each book just keeps getting better and there isn't a long wait in between books, I'm talking just a few months in between each book. Not only is the story so compelling that I am completely submersed in the world and love the characters so strongly that their pain is my pain but it is very well written and something that I get excited for every time I see a book in the series.
The Lost Royal saga had quickly became a book series that I would recommend to anyone and the fourth book in the series, Season of the Wolf, just proves that I was right about this series. Evie has come so far since the beginning of the series and in Season she has grown more into her supernatural-self with a little more confidence in herself and those around her. While she is still not use to her role as queen she is still willing to fight to protect the people that she cares for.
There has always been dark undertones in this book (and I love it) but this time we have some lighter moments that make me so happy. For one Evie and Liam get a whole lot closer to each other and their relationship blooms into something so touching. I just love the relationship between the two, how much they care about each other and are willing to do so much for the other one. However they do go through their ups and downs but it just brings them together even more. My favorite scene with them was when Evie got a nice little surprise but was incridible nervous and Liam stands by her, understands her and comforts her while also letting her stand for herself.
Some of my other favorite parts were when Evie had a one-on-one with some of the members in her family. I could tell how close they have gotten and how her walls start to crumble a bit. It's good to see those relationships grow, especially with what happened between her and her human family. One thing I was a little disappointing in was I didn't get to see Evie interact with her friends, especially Beth, that much. While I do understand that the situation didn't call for it I kinda would have like to have a scene with Beth and Evie, to show more of their growing friendship.

So much is going on in Season of the Wolf, there are a whole lot of surprises, family drama, romantic situations but aside from that some questions that I had found extremely important were answered. However, with new answers there are new questions and with the cliff-hanger Season of the Wolf left off on, I cannot even fathom how Rachel is going to wrap-up this wonderful series.
I am sad to know the series will be ending, I mean soul crushing sad, but I am so excited to read the final book in the series, to see how it all ends. If you are debating on reading the series, READ IT, if you are wondering if you should read the next book, READ IT, if you are wondering if it's worth your time... well I think it is. In a world of dangerous shifters, a corrupt king, and deadly plots one girl is going to have to fight for her destiny and it's gonna be one helluva fight.

Liam is now a human being and can no longer protect Evie. Elise and Hilda try to extract Evangeline's magical abilities, but Hilda thinks that she doesn't have them. Elise wants to bring her sons back. Liam, on the other hand, is unhappy that he is a burden for Evie because he is human. He therefore takes drastic measures to undo this. I liked the book and am excited about the last part.
Elise will unbedingt ihre Söhne zurück bringen.

There's not a lot of action here, it's mainly just story building. I hope the next and final book is epic, as it should be. Some things I was scratching my head as to why Rachel would have had this happen in this way when there were so many other ways it could have gone. Then there were some things that were glossed over. It was talked about and then poof it happened with the reader not knowing what actually took place while these things were happening.
I will say the author redeemed herself with this book after she left me heartbroken and angry at the end of the last book :)
The cliffhanger was great and I'm really looking forward to the next book.
I’ve been dying to read this book! The way things left off with Liam was just crazy!! This book was a little more tame. Where we follow their story as he’s trying to live as a human and the struggles he faces not being able to help Evie. There’s only one way he can get his dragon back it’s something that’s never been done before and after Evie puts herself in a dangerous situation again he can’t take it anymore. He asks Elise to turn him into a dragon. It’s the only way. I have to say I was so happy with this revelation I couldn’t figure out how they were going to get his powers back because the my haven’t faced the sovereign yet. I think now he’s going to be the most powerful dragon of all! And also bringing back her brothers was really great too I can’t wait to read the next book!
This series has had me hooked from the first book! Book four brings us right back into the lives of Evie, Liam, Elise, Dallas, Nick and the rest of our beloved characters from Seaton Falls. I don’t want to say too much as there might be spoilers.
But, I can congratulate Ms Jonas on an epic story. You know a book is amazing when you find yourself experiencing a range of emotions as you read it! I laughed, felt anger, was despondent, sobbed and had to wipe tears from my face and at the end I felt hope and most of all a crazy love for these characters! So looking forward to book five!
I loved Season of the Wolf. It was an amazing addition to the series. Once I started reading I could hardly wait to finish. I had to know what was going to happen with Liam and the impending war with Sebastian. This was a very emotional read. The people of Seaton Falls and those that chose to make a stand with them face a lot of hardship and heartache in this segment of their story but still managed to hold on to a sliver of hope. There were countless displays of kindness, strength, courage, loyalty, selflessness and love. The ending was kind of unexpected although I had hoped for some of it. :) I can’t wait for book five!
Shit on a cracker and call me a biscuit, that ending! Another soul searching adventure for our characters Evie, Nick and Liam, loads of emotion and conviction! War is here and our heroes need to prepare Seatons shifter residents for the worse. As Dallas points out this is the “calm before the storm” and Sebastian is willing to commit heinous atrocities to get what he wants. Will Seaton be victorious are, what are they willing to do to survive? Or will it be too late? Can Nick starve off his natural instinct or will he end Evies life?! Stay tuned for the final book of the Lost Royals.
I'm sitting in bed trying to get my thoughts together to form a coherent review.
Let's start at the beginning... I pre-ordered this book as soon as I finished book 3 in the series. And then I received an ARC. I had butterflies when this sucker landed because this has become one of my absolute favorite series.
So many new facts dropped, a handful of loose ends tied up, a freaking amazing cliffhanger. I'm just annoyed I have to wait for the next installment, honestly. You can bet your a** I'm pre-ordering book 5.
This series throws so many curves that leave your heart literally on the floor but oddly enough, in all the best ways. Books that can take you from laughter to tears are the best kinds of books. They force you to feel emotions you may not even realize you have...but you feel. That is the absolute stunning beauty of reading and this book does not disappoint. Evie’s journey continues to be epic, reckless, fierce and loving. As she fights for what and who she loves most and sacrifices for others she does not know because she was born a Queen, she just needs to make it to her crowning.
Woah, woah, woah! Rachel Jonas has created a series that I absolutely LOVE and this book, I was hesitant to read. In fact, it sat on my Kindle for a bit because after Book 3’s cliffhanger I wasn’t sure I even wanted to read it.
But damn, am I glad I did. Not only did something cheer worthy happen to our dear Liam... but that ending! I was NOT expecting that. I was expecting a Nick showdown, but not what I got.
No huge cliffhanger this time, just pure anticipation. This Mama wants Book 5 already!! Nap time just got more interesting.
When I start a series, I like to start an older one that's finished because I have the tendency to not pick it back up if a new release comes out and it's been a while. Nope, not with this one and that shocked me. Lol but it's not my favorite in the series but it's good. We could have used a little more action and still have left the final war for the next book. It kind of felt like an update book besides the bombshell at the end. I will still read the last one when released because there is still so much to cover, I'm hoping for a long one.
Liam is now human after sacrificing himself for Evie, Evie’s dragon is basically depressed. Even with those thing Liam still is as protective as ever and Evie is not whiney and annoying about her depression. Instead Evie is using this to learn more about her wolf and her dual nature. This book was another well written book and a great addition to an already fabulous series. The ending gives a few hints as to what will be in the fifth book and I can’t wait for it to be released, there are only a few authors and series that I follow release dates on and this is one of them!
This was a 5 star read for me. The ending of book 3 (Heart of the Dragon) left me ANGRY, sad, ANGRY, heartbroken, and... did I mention ANGRY?? Well, Rachel definitely made up for it in Season of the Wolf! Oh there was some heartbreak too, but she redeemed herself ❤️ But... THAT ENDING though!!! There is so much I would like to say but I can’t express the sheer awesomeness without spoiling the plot. I can’t wait for book 5! This is one of the best series I’ve read in a while.
This was a great story. After the ending to book three, I wasn't sure I wanted to read this one but I'm glad I did! You really get to experience the kind of love that Evie and Liam have for each other and that it goes beyond their tether. I can't wait to read the next book. I do wish there was a bit more to this story and that certain characters were developed a bit more within this book, but overall it is a great buildup to the final book in the series.
This series just keeps getting better and better! From start to finish I couldn’t put this book down. It’s such an emotional roller coaster, but well worth it. Now I’m completely torn! I can’t wait for the final book so I can know how it all turns out but I’m terrified of what might happen to the characters I love so much!
I honestly love this series. It’s one of my favorites BUT This book was probably my least favorite of all of them so far. It was just frustrating that it took an ENTIRE book for anything to happen!! Of course I still love the series I just feel like there could of been less filler and more story.
Absolutely brilliant story, I can't wait for the conclusion
The Lost Royals Saga has been an absolute pleasure to read. The fast pacing keeps you on the edge of you seat. I literally cannot wait for the final story, it will be sad for it to finish but I need to know this has a HEA!
This was a little slow in the beginning but I was quickly infatuated. The characters were all so different and intense in their own way. The addition of the brothers was awesome and I can’t wait to read how they evolve. I saw the ending coming but only maybe two chapters before the ending but it was still an exciting end.
I cannot believe that catch at the end. This book had a lot of ups and downs. I saw Evie grow and develop, Liam sacrifice, Elise become a mom, and brothers brought back to life. Nick is still fighting his demons but hopefully love will guide him, love and a friendship. I cannot wait to read the final book!
