OMG! This book is absolutely amazing! I'm at loss of words, the chemistry, witty humor, the heartache… Zander is a sex addict in recovery and Eden, his new employee, is testing his limits with her shy, angelic beauty and her tempting figure. He’s an alpha-male to the core. He’s possessive, absurdly sexy and strongly passionate. Eden’s appearance becomes too destructive and he gets obsessed with her. But as things progress with everything so does their desire for each other. Will Eden and Zander fall in love or fall apart?
It is interesting watching Eden discover passion and her own power over the male species. She’s also courageous and timid. Those traits are probably what draw Zander to her in the first place. I am an absolute sucker for this type of hero and story line, so this was absolutely "my cup of tea". I felt the sensuality moved the plot forward and never became distasteful or overdone. Provocative plot and fast paced....you will not get bored!

I love jealous and possessive men and the hero was. Also the hero didn’t have sex with OW after meeting the heroine. Despite being a sexual addict the last time he had sex with OW was many months prior to meeting her. I gave an addition star because he was faithful to her as it is always very important to me that a hero stops having sex with OW after meeting his heroine. The question of whether or not the heroine was with OM after the hero is a nonissue. The heroine was a virgin and a very inexperienced one. I don’t think she ever even kissed anyone before the hero.
However there were things that I didn’t like as well. The hero was absolute jerk to the heroine and always pushing her away. It was annoying. Also call me a perv but I was disappointed that this was a slow burn romance. The sex scene did not happen until around 90% of the book and then the book ended shortly thereafter.
I was not expecting a cliffhanger and it was another thing that disappointed me. I thought that the next book was about a different couple but unfortunately that is not the case. I will read the next book if the hero continues to be faithful to the heroine and visa versa.

Okay, I read it several months ago and now stumbled over it in my "read" section. Because I wasn't sure what exactly happened there to give it 2 stars, I've decided to reread my conversations with lovely Isabella to refresh my mind. So this is not really a review, just some points for me to remember later.
But jeeez, sooo much happened - and it was rrrealy bad.
The hero, behaving like a spoiled child; the heroine, being super sheltered and naive but also kinda not too smart; the stupidity of plot holes and absurdities of little details (like working as a waitress in a super duper very much luxurious spa-casino in flip-flops for several weeks, LOL)...
The two stars are for the great beginning, because the first chapters totally sucked me in (yeah, and the cover. I mean LOOK at that cover!).

Seriously hate it when author unnecessarily put cliffhangers in their book..

First off have you seen that cover, holy hotness if that doesn’t make you buy the book nothing will.
Tabatha and Melissa are a writing duo in perfect harmony this story was simply amazing. I read it in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down.
Zander is a sex addict who has been free from his addiction for six months when young innocent Eden bounces into his life. I was fascinated by his character, being inside his head was an enlightening and at time’s erotic experience. You get a ringside seat watching Zander fight his urges and fascination for Eden. Eden may be young and inexperienced but she’s no dummy, she’s run away from a destructive home life and landed in the city of sin.
This was an additive read, now it’s over I’m just sat here salivating for book two.

Tabatha & Melissa have always produced some Great sexy stories, blind spots, unexpected turns and twists and the books have always been edgy while not diminishing the smut factor. This book is another example of this dynamic Duo.
Eden Vaughn is on the run from her old life and rushes to Vegas to start anew.
Tomorrow would be a new day— a new beginning— and a chance to be someone different. I would grab the opportunity with greedy hands and turn it into something amazing. It was my time. I would change my life.
She's like the proverbial Apple dangled in front of the Serpent. Only this serpent will swallow her whole. His control is slipping because she's his carrot and he's running towards her while trying to rein in his horses. Very tough task.
she stuck out like a beacon. A light in the dark cave-like casino. A break in the dark clouds with a single stream of effervescent light slipping through. She was purity. Perfection. Innocence. A vanilla cone waiting to be licked.
And she finds new kind of trouble- Zander Hale, He casino owner and her boss!!! He's rude,arrogant and masterful. And that's his "good qualities" He is battling his demons, and this angel thrown in mix is just adding fuel to fire. He's hanging by a thread and she's the beautiful clippers who'll cut his tether, unless he bites first.
I felt crazy. As if I were within an inch of losing control of myself and swooping in and snatching her up like a starving bird would their prey. She was just a tiny mouse. An innocent angel scampering down the corrupt streets of Sin City.
I loved how the story started, it was fantastic, just halfway some things felt a bit unbelieveable and went against the character traits.
But please go ahead and enjoy this story

First the cover...because...well it's amazing and will likely stay on my Kindle library for a long time just because I like looking at it.
Now to the book. I was super excited to get my little paws on this book and I was so happy when it appeared. The blurb caught my attention and I was intrigued about where they were going to go with this storyline.
Zander is a sex addict and is in recovery. He is trying really hard to curb his desires and so far is doing a good job. Although, he is moody and a brute. He also has a dark edge to him that I feel like we haven't seen all of yet. He is a successful Las Vegas casino owner but how he came to be the king of it all is not a story paved with roses. In order to keep his head in the game, he steers clear of temptations but when he walks in to find Eden working in his casino all that bottle-up frustration comes out in full force.
Eden escapes a pretty crappy life to seek a new start with her Aunt Kennedy. Eden is innocence and purity all wrapped up in an unassuming package. She is fierce and will do anything in her power to get out the situation that she left. She is a hard worker and is just sweet, but a little bit edgy too. She finds herself all wrapped up in the casino and trying to figure out what Zander's story is.
This book was quick and packed full of tension and insane chemistry. As I was nearing the end I knew there were not enough pages to finish what was going on and I was right. This book was super sexy and had me from the beginning to the end. There are also side characters that I can't wait to see more of. The fun, playboy, Kade and all business and a bit scary Kennedy. I cannot wait for the next book to see where this is going to go.

Yummy! This book was great from page one. You would think with not much sexy time that this was on the tame side BUT no, not at all. I mean this was amazing!! I say this book lit a fire under my ass. Damn it Zander. I want to hate the bastard but I just can’t. And Eden is just as her name sounds. Innocent. Beautiful. Thoughtful. Two opposites that just burn for each other but both so damn hard headed. Until... That ending though... I was so mad at the authors when the book just stopped. I. Can. Not. Freaking. Wait. For. The. Next. Book!!!! You guys suck (not really because the book was so damn good)!!!
Not only did you have Mr sexy, alpha, angry, moody, did I mention sexy?!?! But I got a glimpse of Kade and omg I want more!!! This story was written beautifully and gave me a bunch of characters to keep an eye out for. The pace was perfect and it was not too smutty just freaking right. And I know we all have eyes but DAMN that cover is super hot and fits this book perfectly!! This is a top read for 2018 from Book Addicts Reviews!!

The longing and tension in this book will keep you turning the pages. Vanilla and Vice is a giant tease. A tease that poor Zander seems to be losing the battle fighting. But what a way to go!
I didn't realize that this tease was just that a tease. Vanilla and Vice is just the beginning. Eden and Zander apparently aren't even getting started. It will be interesting to see how the rest of their adventure pans out.

Did u see the F@$&ing cover....I didn't even read the blurb, I'm literally buying this book because of that cover....Wow...nicely done 😍.....
ok so now I read the book....HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!!!! I have no words. I want to hate Zander, I truly do. But the way he acted at the end of this book...while completely unacceptable and just plain despicable...I can totally see why he acted the way he did. He is an addict. He just fell off the wagon and most likely felt so disgusted with himself that he turned that hatred outward towards Eden. Like I said...horrible, but I understand. I absolutely loved this book. I can't wait to read more. I knew that this was going to be a series, but I thought maybe each book is with a new main character....ughhhhhh...I hate waiting....I want to know how all this will end!!!!! The next book can't come quick enough. But one more thing, slight spoiler, not a big one, but still gives something away....I am unsure if I just didn't read something correctly, or if I skimmed over it....He says he killed a woman he forced himself on. And that was the last person he had sex with. So six months ago he killed someone?? Now, the author leaves it open to probably in the following books we will find out he truly didn't kill her because she wrote "until i woke up hungover next to a dead girl and the only memory was of her saying no to sex with me the night before"...but my problem is....he thinks he killed someone. An innocent person who said no...and he is OK with him. He is more concerned with getting help for his sex addiction rather than that HE KILLED SOMEONE. I dunno, I am a little confused about this whole situation.

In order to avoid ruining the book for you this may be a very short review. Please be warned that it DOES end on a cliffhanger. One that has you dangling by the fingertips, screaming and yelling at the whole universe when really all of that anger for being left dangling above certain doom belongs to two people and only those two. Tabatha Vargo and Melissa Andres just MUST be closet “writing sadists!” But now they’ve been outed and we ALL know they’re just sitting back laughing about all of us who finished the last page and thought we’d somehow received an un-updated book. But alas no, we received the correct one.
Even after all of that, Guess what? I’ll be one-clicking Virtue & Vengeance the moment it lets me. The purpose we read is to escape the reality of out surroundings, and from page one I was no longer sitting in real life, Indiana...but in Las Vegas!

Vanilla and Vice is the first book that I have read by either Tabatha Vargo and Melissa Andrea. It is the first book in the Empire Sevens series and it’s a fairly short book.
I can’t believe it ended the way it did. But, you will know that there is a second book coming out and I can’t wait!!!!
This is Eden and Zander’s story. Eden has run away from an abusive situation to her aunts. Her aunt helps her get a job at a casino in Las Vegas where she works. Zander owns part of the casino where Eden now works. Zander has a sex addiction and all he can think of and wants is Eden. Eden is blonde has long gorgeous legs. And, these things make for a very good story.
I am always amazed how 2 people can write together and tell a story. I am happy to say that you wouldn’t know which part each author wrote. It was seamlessly written!
I give reading Vanilla and Vice 4.5 stars and now I can’t wait for book 2.

What the heck did I just read? Normally I enjoy reading from this author, but this one was a miss for me. Doesn’t help the sex was awful.

That was better than I was expecting, and the last duet from this author I read I really enjoyed. So, I picked this up when it was recommended to me.
But dang! Somehow I had it in my mind the second book was out, apparently I only pre ordered (good enough) Cause it’s got a spicy cliffhanger. I really like to read these back to back, and I’ve got to wait now. Whaaaaa.....LOL.
We meet our Eden, loathe to leave her Mom behind, whose gotten into drugs and a nasty boyfriend, but with no choice. Something bad going to happen to her if she doesn’t, So, She hits the road to Vegas to meet up w/ her Aunt, who is big time at Empire Sevens Casino. I really liked Aunt Kennedy. Zander is a piece of work. Holy heck, he’s on the wagon, a sex addiction wagon. Eden is like fresh Salmon for a Grizzly Bear.
The rest of the book we watch a slow torturous burn attraction. I really liked we got Zander’s POV. This book imo, can’t work without it. He can be a bonfired jerk, lol. He’s fighting, she’s falling, but honestly confused and naive. Only we know how much time he spends trying to get her to quit, all in the name of his own sanity.
She is in way over her head with Zander. She gets some spunk though, I liked seeing someone so sheltered, always caring for other people, start caring about herself.
I’m looking forward to the next book! I want his fall to be epic!

She brought out the addict in me, and he was hungry for just a tiny taste of her.
Firstly the cover, holy hotness! and yes it does reflect the character which is the sexy Zander, Casino owner and recovering sex addict.
Vanilla and Vice is a bit like a cat and mouse game and it was just warming up before the abrupt ending, it was like Tom just about to pounce on Jerry as he grabs the cheese and someone pressed pause, stupid analogy but you get my drift.
Eden Vaughn escapes her home life and goes to live with her Aunt in Vegas, she begins to enjoy her freedom from the life she has been living with her drug using mother and boyfriend, Eden gets a job at the Casino where her Aunt works and things are finally looking up but her freedom becomes Zanders nightmare.
Zander's weakness is innocent looking blondes and Eden screams Innocence, 6 months sex free and the battle of wills is tested whenever he is around Eden.
I have to admit Zander comes across a bit creepy, the way he watches her, salivates over her even touches himself thinking about her and Eden is just being Eden, a twenty one year old woman who is trying to get her life put together, work hard and earn enough money to pay for a deposit on her own place.
"I’m into all things dark and filthy, but innocence is my kryptonite.
She’s virtuous and vanilla, and vanilla is my VICE".
Eden is innocent looking, a virgin but she has backbone and once or twice she stands up to Zander who is trying his best to make her quit her job so he is no longer tortured when he see's her.
A good page turner, I was really getting into it and it was really heating up in the last chapter. I am looking forward to Empire Sevens, book 2.

Vanilla and Vice are two words that seem quite contradictory, but in respect to Eden Vaughn and Zander Hale’s story, this pairing is apt because it describes their respective personalities and even though it provides insight into how Eden and Zander differ, it’s because of those differences that Zander becomes obsessed with Eden’s virtuous and innocent lifestyle, forcing him to give into his desperate need to filthy her up even if it’s quite possibly the worst decision he could make, both professionally and personally.
I have to admit…I’m not quite sure how I feel about Zander and his vices. At times, he comes off as a pompous jerk - one who thinks highly of himself and one whose cravings will never be satisfied but goes forward nonetheless. This might be deliberate characterization on the authors’ part due to the fact that Vanilla and Vice is only the beginning of Eden and Zander’s story, but because I went in thinking it was a standalone, Zander’s actions and demeanor caught me off-guard. Now that I know that readers will be getting more of the story, I’m sure that the authors will provide further insights into Eden and Zander’s backstory as well as what makes them who they are in the present.
I really liked Eden and the way she was characterized. She definitely comes into her own as the story continues and it’s her resilience and her quiet but fierce courage that proves exactly who she is, and while she may be innocent, she knows what she wants and the Las Vegas setting is the perfect place for her to explore her sexuality and Zander Hale just might be the perfect man for the job.
There’s more of Zander and Eden’s story to tell, so I’ll be interested to see where the authors take their characters and if Zander’s obsession and addiction will work in his favor or work against him when it comes to wanting more than just sex.

I really enjoyed Eden and Zander’s story. It was a pretty quick read and it will very much leave you wanting more. There were plenty of twists and turns to keep me engrossed from beginning to end. And let's not forget about the smutty parts.....OMG, can ya say HOT!! I'm eager to find out what happens next.

I’m into all things dark and filthy, but innocence is my kryptonite. She’s virtuous and vanilla, and vanilla is my VICE.
When I read this line, I hoped it would foreshadow the rest of the book but I’m on the fence - the one they left me hanging on with that
V&V is a super fast read. It’s fun and sexy with a balance of real life angst. I’m a huge fan of TV|MA and their brand. They know exactly what works for their readers, however I’m sitting on the edge of how I feel about this one.
Let’s start with Zander Hale. He’s the King of Empire Sevens - a high end casino in Vegas. He & his partner Kade King are the epitome of sexy. Powerful men with the looks to match keep them in every woman’s line of site.
Zander is the dark and broody one. The one with a sex addiction. He’s the one that can’t keep his hands off Eden Vaughn. She’s demure and innocent. And just what he craves. But his methods weren’t for me. He feels more like a narcissistic asshole who thinks everything is about him. Eden is sweet,which shocked me with a past like hers.
Kade & Kennedy are great secondary characters who I need more about. I really liked them both.
I’m looking forward to what comes next. To see if the character development continues the way I’m hoping and to see if we find out more about all of them.
Overall the book is really good - the writing is great and with Vegas as a backdrop I’m anticipating the sinful desires of the flesh to take over book 2.

Eden wasn't raised with much, but she had her mom. They did okay together, until her mom hooked up with a man who's a dealer. She's now addicted and the boyfriend is abusive. Eden has had enough and leaves for Las Vegas to find her aunt. Her Aunt Kennedy works for Zander.
From the moment Zander saw Eden he knew he was in trouble. The way he handled things to try and get her to quit her job at the casino was childish. As a reader I could predict what would happen. This first book was okay and I'm hoping that the story will improve in the next book.

Zander is addicted to domination and sex and innocence as well. Enter Eden. The epitome of innocence and suddenly Zander is fighting his addiction hard! Everything he can think to do to control his needs seems to be failing him so he comes up with a plan, but there is a small roadblock. She is the niece of one of his most loyal employees and friends and anything he decides to do could jeopardize that relationship as well.
This whole first book is about the introduction of Eden to her new life in Vegas and how Zander fights his need to have Eden and it is AMAZING. And then it ends on a "cliffhanger".

I have a love/hate with them. I hate them so much, but they really do their job and Tabatha Vargo and Melissa Andrea did a really good job with this one. GAH! When is the next book coming out?
Vanilla and Vice took me a little over 3 hours to read so it is bingeable...and you will definitely do that. Honestly don't think I could have put it down if I had to.

This is by far my favourite book by Tabatha Vargo and Melissa Andrea! I was captivated by Eden and Zander's story from start to finish!! Eden has lived a tough life and decided to escape her past and start fresh in Las Vegas where her aunt lives. Her aunt takes her in with open arms and sets her up with a waitressing job at the company she works for Empire Sevens! Eden is relieved to be free of her past and starting over! All seems well, until she meets her rich, insanely attractive and strict boss Zander Hale. Zander is fighting his own demons, struggling to remain sex free after the horrific events of his past. He was doing fine, until the tempting Eden showed up in his casino, looking like an angel. No matter how hard Zander tries to stay away from Eden, he always gets drawn back to her. He tried multiple times to get her to quit but each time it backfired horribly for him. In the end Zander finally gives in to his attraction and allows himself to have one night with Eden. Will one night be enough? Will Zander be strong enough to walk away and if so how will Eden handle the devastating loss? I'm not sure how their story is going to end, but all I can say is that I can't wait to read Virtue and Vengeance! It's going to be one heck of an epic book!!!

Okay, alright, first of all let me bask in all the glory that is this cover. I mean, get out the fire extinguisher because it's hotness overload. *fans self* Now, if the cover alone doesn't make you want to buy the book the synopsis definitely will.
Tabatha and Melissa brought it all. Angst, undeniable chemistry, intrigue and a touch of slow-burn that had me on the edge of my seat wondering when, not if, because it was obvious something-something was going to happen between the two main MCs.
Eden Vaughn wants change. And the only way for that to happen is for her to take action. So she decides to leave the situation she's in and goes to live with her aunt in Vegas. And without even knowing her life was not only going to change, but having no idea what she'd be getting herself into.
Zander Hale is a commanding and powerful man. He's a recovering addict doing his best not to fall in the hands of temptation. And to his surprise his new employer brings that temptation and then some.
Eden and Zander, holy goodness these two brought it! I liked how Eden was independent and didn't need a man providing for her, because girl could make her own money. And that made her even more desirable in Zander's eyes. Ugh, and Zander and his alpha way? YESSSSSS!!! OMFG I just wanted more, more, more. I couldn't get enough and when I reached the end I thought I was certain I missed a few pages because WHAT IN THE EVER LIVING HELL?!?!?!?! It ended like that?! You just go and do me like that????? I will recommend this book to everyone who wants to find out what it feels like when sweet and sinful mix perfectly together in just one book by the hands of this perfect writing duo.

Vanilla and Vice by Tabatha Vargo and Melissa Andrea is a sensually hot story involving an addict and an angel.
Zander is as complicated as can be (love his name, BTW). He is as angelic as the devil himself. Embroiled in desires that are too illicit to mention, he faces an event that wakes him up from his downward spiral.
Until Eden
She is his weakness. The one thing that will break through his will power, erasing all the progress he's made so far. Making him lose his grip on the control he's been working so hard for.
Eden, innocent to all of this, is shocked to find that her body reacts strongly to Zander, even when he acts like a dick to her. She is confused when she realizes that there's something about him that draws her in. Something that can only be felt but not explained.
What happens when you put in front of an addict, something/someone that can break the intervention he placed on himself?
She brought out the addict in me, and he was hungry for just a tiny taste of her.
Zander's struggles are quite evident in this one. Poor Eden feels the brunt of it, of his weakness, of his anger, of all of it.
I loved this story so much! The chemistry between these two are perfect. Their connection, unbreakable. The way they tested each other is amazing. Eden is as strong willed as Zander is. She gives him exactly what he dishes out to her. I love that about her. Their personalities may be as opposite as night and day but I think that's what makes the both of them such amazing equals.
The heat in this one is off the charts, seriously!
