Very simplistic telling of what happens on the first day of Kindergarten.

November 25, 2015First Day of Kindergarten is a cute story that goes through the motions students feel on their very first day of school. The young mouse is frightened when she first gets to her school, but after making friends, she begins to enjoy herself.
I would read this book on the first day of a kindergarten class. An activity the students could complete, is drawing a picture like the young girl did and sharing with their neighbors what they drew. This would allow them to talk to others and feel more comfortable.
