Fandamtastic! This book was recommended by one of my co-workers (Thanks Susan!). It provides lots of information and suggestions for using 2.0 in your library and beyond (the 4 walls). This book talks about blogs and wikis, social networking & tagging technologies, folksonomies, podcasting, gaming, digital storytelling, virtual reality libraries such as Second Life and more! There is even information for integrating these tools into your Collection Development Policy. Finally, there is a nice list of websites for each topic and what the purpose of these sites are along with a list of suggested reading for each of these topics.

This book is so great that I am purchasing a copy of my very own.

For Library 2.0 paper.

Great collection of current literature on Library 2.0 itself as well as the various technological tools available/needed. Michael Casey's essay on Catalog 2.0 was especially enlightening and thought-provoking.

This was assigned reading for a MLS course. I must say, I learned quite a few things in this one. It certainly wasn't overly exciting, but the implications of the information housed herein is very exciting.

While most of the topics covered (ILS, wikis, blogs, podcasting, handheld, mashups, social sites, gaming) will be familiar, here they are treated with a bit more depth - but not too much - along with references for further research.

Some very interesting research and some great ideas and starting-points that I would like to be able to implement in my own library.

I had to read this for school, but relatively interesting short, readable chapters on different 2.0 crap. a good intro to these topics and aspects of implementing technology in libraries

obviously a tad dated since published in 2007, but great overview for someone who might be new to L2.0 concepts or new technology in general
