But 1984 has hit society by way of Edward in the south ladies are being followed, cops are doing bad things, and just where is that mob? Two prominent women step in to help them, an opera singer and a cancer patient on the edge of destruction from chemotherapy.Meanwhile, Megan wonders if she could do this line of work, as she already helps a young mother, Maria, and her daughter, Hope, but doesn’t know the mob and police are after them. James has his forces buddies teach Megan a few basics through personal classes. He realizes she has a sixth sense being clued in sometimes when he is not. A few other characters light up the pages including Nate, Rebekka, and Suzanne. There’s a triple murder and spying going on through surveillance. The thrill is kept up by the constant barrage of spying, and secrets, with Megan’s heightened anxiety by it all.

Three King Mackerel and a Mahi Mahi by Caroline Clemens is book one in Southern Surveillance books. In this book, the story literally starts off with a bang and doesn't slow down until the last page.
The main characters meet during the use of a dating service, where they took an immediate liking to each other. Only the place they went to for their first date was used for a deal of some sort going wrong, and the main characters driving off with just over six thousand dollars. The leading male character shows the leading female character a badge and tells her he used to be a cop, but doesn't tell her exactly what he does anymore.
They hit it off almost, and she and she quickly introduces him to her children who get along just as well as she does.
As the story progresses, the leading female has several instances where she thinks she is being followed, but is not able to prove it, so as a result does not say anything to anyone. The leading male is working on a case where a woman was being spied on by through her phone, including people from the Government. Three King Mackerel is most definitely a book that teaches open communication in a relationship is what keeps it alive, literally.
