Such an angsty rollercoaster. Picking up after book one, this story unfolds in such a way that I could feel pieces chipping off my heart one at a time. By the end, I did feel like I was *mostly* put back together even though I don’t know that I totally will ever understand their choices and lack of communication. Yet Ms. Cimms made me feel and I can’t wait to see what she writes next.

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. A is for Alpha B is for Books

O-M-Great balls of angsty angst!! This book had everything AND the kitchen sink. My heart was torn into tiny pieces and glued back together over and over and happily, I didn't want it to stop!

To be honest, I had no idea what direction this book was going to take. I knew there would definitely be drama with Chase and Rain but never to the extent it did. My heart is just breaking thinking about it. Karen Cimms really knocked this one out of the park!

To start with, the prologue knocks yo

I was gifted an ARC for an honest review.

At the end of the first book you as the reader don't really have an idea of what is going to happen. I can tell you, whatever you thought would be wrong!

When you read the prologue - again you think aah I know what has happened - again wrong. Then when you are reading the lead up to the prologue in the book - the thought running through my head was No!! This happened a lot in this one!

This book puts the reader through the mill. Will you be mad at the h &am

Where do I begin? The prologue is only a small hint at what's to come and it put me slightly on edge. But to soothe that, we get a romantic beginning and the beautiful start we were hoping for after finishing Miss February. It doesn’t always mean smooth sailing. And really, would you want that? Mrs. February takes us on a journey of promise, love, pain, acceptance and forgiveness and dare I say, redemption. Two souls come together yet face all the same struggles that any couple w

Heart wrenching 💔. I held my breath the entire time. Could not put it down. I read both books in 24 hours. Oh the angst. I loved every minute of it. Now,I need to rock myself to sleep.

I expected Chase and Rain to walk off into the sunset happily ever after, but no, it got really angsty. Actually I did not get what happened. ***Spoiler alert*** Chase spent about 50% of the book with another woman. He got engaged to her. They were together till the day of the wedding. Rain meanwhile existed broken hearted. All because of a stupid misunderstanding that he did not clear up post haste, and constant stupid jealousy. I know Rain made some stupid decisions but she did not mean any ha ...more

I really enjoyed Miss February, but this conclusion to the duet honestly blew me away.
Mrs. February had me crying real tears of sadness and happiness at different times. I wanted to smack Rain a few times and I wanted to strangle Chase many times. At first you think you know how this story will progress, but it's a roller coaster--I felt my heart in my throat many times as I wondered what was going to happen next and worried about where the story would lead. It was an amazing ride and I loved it

Ok, so this one had me hooked! In book one I wanted to pummel Rain and only had me wanting to read book 2 just to see who she ended up with. Now, book 2? I wanted to stab Chase in the eye...many times! The story had me staying up way too late to finish. It also produced a few tears and some moments I wanted to throw my tablet across the room, lol. This was what I was waiting for in the story - all those feels!

After reading Miss February, I couldn't wait to read Mrs. February. Karen Cimms has written another book full of love, jealousy, pain, romance, twists and turns continuing Rain and Chases' relationship journey. I loved this book and couldn't put it down.

This was such an emotional book about love, marriage, jealousy, and trust.

I loved Rain through the whole book and even though she made some difficult decisions she did everything out of love and trying to get ahead in her life with Chase. She didn’t do anything on purpose to incite Chase’s jealousy and was always trying to do the right thing for her family and she truly put up with a lot from Chase. Through the book Rain continued to be the bigger person and I was blown away about how grown up s

Ms. Cimms has outdone herself with the second part of this duet. After being left hanging with Miss February months ago I needed to know if Rain and Chase could weather the storm. This book was very emotional and gave me some pointers for my own marriage, and I loved it. O much. I wanted to slap Chase a few times, as well as shake some sense into Rain. She frustrated me with her childish ways at times and I could see how she too was part of the problem. That said, Chase should’ve manned up and r ...more

Wow! A lot of angst in this book! I loved Rain, but Chase had me on a roller coaster. His jealousy and his imagination caused a lot of pain for both him and Rain. I still rooted for them throughout the misunderstandings. I prayed Chase would smarten up, before he lost Rain for good. I only wish it hadn't taken him as long as it did, to realize the truth. Rain loved him unconditionally, even though sometimes Chase didn't deserve her love. It was clear though that Chase and Rain belonged together ...more

This 2 book series was amazing.

Great storyline with very believable and relatable characters. I laughed and cried. My heart was breaking at one point and was glad it ended in a hea, because for a while I thought it was going to end in heartbreak. Praises Karen Cimms for a wonderful story!

Just like the first book, it blew me away. Loved everything about chase and rain. How they fell in love and stayed in love thru everything they went through. Both Miss February and Mrs. February were great books. Highly recommend both. You will not be disappointed.

This book was much longer, thank goodness, than the first book. And oh so worth it. When I tell you this book had me by the balls you better believe it. There were parts in the book that had me IG messaging the author, asking WHY!!!!! The part that broke me was when Chase walked away for so damn long. He walked away.........

I couldn't vibe with Chase. I mean, I tried to understand his POV in the beginning but the more I read, the more I wad like this is BULLSHIT! Completely crap (not the writing

This is the second book in the series and book one, Miss February needs to be read first.
Rain Storm Holgate has finally married the man she loves, Chase, and they have her daughter and their son.
As much as they are still madly in love with each other, Chase is still insecure when it comes to Rain and is insanely jealous when it comes to his beautiful wife. When several incidents occur, Chase jumps to conclusions and makes a decision with dire results.

After reading Miss February I was so damn addicted with this duet that I devoured Mrs. February right after I finished Miss February.

We pick up where we left off in Miss February. Chase and Rain are more in love than ever before. They get married, and Chase treats Rain's daughter like if she were his own biological daughter. Now that's what I call a real man right there in LOVE. Not all spouses will take in a step child with open arms. But Chase won my heart right here with the way he loved this

Mrs. February is the conclusion of the Calendar Girl Duet and it takes us on quite a bumpy ride. This book proves that sometimes even when we have found The One, even when things are going well - that Happily Ever After's take work, that sometimes all that starts well, doesn't remain and that communication is key.

Chase and Rain found their happiness, they found each other and finally get married, but life isn't always easy and sometimes the past has ways of clouding our judgments and haunting u

The rollercoaster that was book one in this series continues big time in this book - I loathe Preston, the Richie Rich in Rain's life - We know from book one that as much as he professes to love Rain, it never really flew with me - I get the his aristocratic family thinks Rain is so beneath them and he would lose all if he doesn't go through with marrying the correct woman. I despise men with no balls who happens to be a bully and that is Preston. On to Chase - the drop dead gorgeous everyday ma ...more

It never ceases to amaze me that an author can create fictional characters and add words to a page and those words can have me feeling such intense emotions. This story was an absolute rollercoaster of a read and left me feeling exhausted!

I'm trying to think of what I can add to this review without giving away any spoilers. If I had been reading a paperbac

So this book picked up right where Miss February left off. You definitely need to read Miss February prior to digging into this bad boy.

I was all over the place....from wanting to throat punch Chase a time or two to wanting to take Rain by the shoulders and just shake!!! I feel like a lot of the issues they had were solely communication issues....normal couple stuff. Chase was insecure and Rain was so forgiving. There were definitely a lot of 'What just happen

Blown away! I can't stop thinking about this book!
Mrs. February the conclusion to the thrilling calendar girl duet was a book with ALL the feels. I fell even more in love with leading lady, Rain, and adored how she did 'human.' Credit to the author for creating characters that were so refreshingly REAL. Rain and Chases' story to find their way back to love again was an angsty, drama filled ride with some sweet, touching moments and painful truly heart wrenching ones (my heart was duly wrenched a

I was left hanging at the end of Miss February and was dying to find out what happened next with Rain and Chase. I enjoyed Rain’s character, even though she got a bit annoying at times, but overall, the storyline kept me intrigued and wanting to keep reading. Chase on the other hand, irritated the crap outta me! He didn’t deserve Rain and his jealousy was too overbearing. I thought the characters were written well and the plot kept me interested (full of emotion and anger), but I wasn’t impresse ...more

This is the conclusion to the Calendar Girl duet. It cannot be read as a standalone.
That said this book picks up right where Miss February ended, and it was the perfect ending.
Sharp, clever writing. The author has you hanging on every word to see how this intriguing and compelling conclusion ends.
Nothing is what it appears!!
Intense, twisted and emotional Chase and Rain’s journey continues.
Oh the emotions... as their bumpy, roller coaster ride of a relationship is tested and retested.

This conclusion of the duet completely gutted me. Such an emotional journey filled with extreme highs and lowest of lows. A whirlwind that had my heart stopping and in shreds only to slowly start beating and becoming whole again. The questions and things left open ended in the first book, Miss February, were all answered. Maybe not in the way us readers were hoping, but there was nothing left unfinished. I was completely invested in Rain and Chase's lives and their story and read it straight thr ...more
