I received a free copy of this book from the author and voluntarily reviewed it

Always when I pick up a book by SJ Pajonas I know I am in for a good read. There are some authors whose writing style just works for me and Pajonas is one of those authors. As soon as I start reading one of her books I get sucked into the book and by the time I finish the last page I feel both happy and sad. Happy because of how good the book was and sad because now the wait begins till I can read another one of her b

I Love Japan

I envy Ms Pajonas. She was in Japan in 2016 and I left there in 1974 (An Army Nurse there for three years). I also left a peace of my heart in the land of the Rising Sun. I could see my self so much in Mei and enjoyed seeing her mature with each book. I also love a good mystery (ie, Agatha Christie novels). To have all this rolled I to one book is awesome. The author describes the setting so well that I can smell the miso soup, see the restaurants and stores, take off my shoes and si

While thing at home become stressful, Mei wonders if things will ever be normal again. Her mom is mad at her and her boyfriend is the prime suspect in the murder of his ex fiancee, all of this while seh is still trying to get her new tea shop ready to open for business. Now Mei is in a new investigation that is the most important one of her life.

This third book is a little faster paced than the previous ones. While it still has a little humor, and a good bit of suspense, it is also the most emot

Mei-Chan had been working on her tea shop for months.

Yashahiro's old fiancee shows up in Chikata saying she wants him back. And from there things go downhill for all, there is a murder and lots of lying.

Read and enjoy.

*I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.*

Wow. This book was an emotional roller coaster. So many different things happen that change Mei in so many ways, I can only imagine how she'll end up in the next novel. I just read the novella preceding this story, and so I left Mei and Yasahiro in a relatively stable place in their relationship. Needless to say if you've seen the synopsis, that all changed in here.

Mei started out this book excited about life. Sh

I read this book without ever having read the blurb, and I actually preferred it that way because even the victim ended up being a surprise to me! This installment really puts Mei’s investigative skills to the test, and the stakes are way higher because her relationship with Yasahiro is on the line—he’s the prime suspect! I loved the fact that, even though Mei was faced with her worst relationship nightmare—

This is a great book; this is the third book in the Miso cozy Mystery series written by S.J. Pajonas. Mei Yamagawa’s bad luck is almost at an end. A Wild Ride

When her boyfriend's ex comes to town, Mei knows the woman is there to make trouble. Trouble with a capital T. Worse, she turns up dead. Mei has to solve the murder to save her boyfriend. The author puts Mei through the wringer in this book. I've enjoyed all the Daydreamer Detective books. In this one, the stakes are the highest. Mei has to fight for her love, when all he does is push her away--his way of sparing her. Her anguish is palpable, and her heartbreak crushing. The satisfyin
