In 25 articles from the pages of "Fine Woodworking" magazine, the world's foremost woodworkers share their knowledge of design, proportion, and technique. Each classic project has complete drawings and detailed construction techniques.
A solid and surprisingly varied collection of projects for ambitious beginners or intermediate woodworkers. The writers of the individual articles are sometimes a bit up their own ass (it's Fine Woodworking, after all) and many of them are way too fond of grinding their own router/shaper bits for no reason, but none of the designs are actively bad or liable to teach bad (design) habits, which is much more than can be said of any other book like this I've ever seen.
