Although my son is only 14 months, he enjoys this board book. There is a button kids can push that activate "Halloween" sounds and a glowing light. You have the option of turning off this option from a switch on the the back on the book so that the battery doesn't get depleted from the repetitive button-pushing. The illustrations are cute and the story rhymes (something my son is really into right now). Glad I stumbled upon this book.

I liked that in this book, you can press the button to see the lightning and hear the spooky sounds. Also the pictures are very spooky! Perfect book to read to children around Halloween. I would recommend this to 1st-2nd graders.
