An excellent, albeit brief, book on Aquinas' notions about God. If you want a good introduction into Aquinas' thought, I would recommend this book.

A powerful academic monograph. In 6 compact chapters, Te Veldi shows himself a master of historical research, theology, and metaphysics. He marshals powerful evidence for sometimes revisionist claims, such as his critique of Chenu's exitus-reditus scheme as the structuring principle of the Summa theologiae.

This book should be read by those who are regulars to the Summa. This is more than an introduction to the Summa, and will help correct some paradigms.
