Very interesting to see that some signs are very much like a charade which means that even if you didn't know sign languages, you could still figure some stuff out.

Other interesting points are that American Sign Language (ASL) came from French Sign Language, and that sign language is like any other languages in the world that it evolves over time.

Fascinating to see all these 1,000 signs!

Terrific companion to in-person ASL classes. My teacher at Sign Language Center in NYC recommended this book, and I am finding it very helpful for study outside of class.
